'This was our third trip to Casa Velas. We thought it couldn't get any better and then we saw the new breakfast menu and wine list. So glad to have some lighter options for breakfast, and the new wines are excellent.
Of course it’s the staff that always makes us want to keep coming back. Notably, Camila, Gerardo, and Omar at breakfast; Enrique, Carlos, and Antonio at Tao; Avaldo and Ramon at the Aqua Bar; and Daniel, Gerardo, Rigo, Rosacio at dinner. We’re already planning our next trip...

'This vacation we planned to stay a week and stayed five weeks. It has a beautiful pool and the gardens and turtle pool are amazing. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day if you want. The staff is always available. Coffee, bottled water and bathroom supplies are attended to everyday. Clean towels are given out every morning. There is a restaurant on the property which serves delicious meals. We will be returning again for several weeks.'
