'We had a great stay at the Stockade Inn. It was a nice experience to stay away from the cookie cutter hotels and enjoy a more quaint experience. The sitting areas around the inn are wonderfull for a morning coffee or evening cocktail. If history and warmth are what you're looking for , look no farther!'

'I always stay here when visiting my mom in Schenectady and the front desk is always so helpful, patient and kind. Huge thanks to Colin for his warm reception. Manager covering during check out could use some of the hospitality training from the other staff. The room was clean but toiletries need to be freshened up as most are out but i bring my own so had it wasnt a dire need. Rooms are clean, bed pillows should be changed, pretty small and flat for a king size bed. Overall a good stay.'

'I got a great price on this just due to the day/market price... Normally I'm in some lower star hotels so I may be easily impressed, but really, it's a great hotel. The staff was polite and everything was very clean and comfortable, communicative as well. Rec room and pool were crazy to have access to, so if you need to keep up with fitness, they keep these nice, too. Thank you to the staff for such a pleasant hotel experience on all sides.'
