Lodges in Presque Isle State Park

'The room was not clean from last residents: there was a dirty towel under the shelf in the bathroom as well as a dirty kleenex and a tube of an unknown substance behind the nightstand next to one of the beds. Also, there was mold on the grout in the bathrrom and no towel racks..used towels had to be just thrown on the floor. In addition, the desk chair had a piece missing. Also, on three occassions I went down to the main desk, rang the bell and no one came to help. Although the breakfast was...

'The blind in our room was stuck but the manager did fix the problem right away. The hot water in the shower took a long time to get warm. The breakfast did not include eggs or bacon.The place is older not like the big motels that we as a family have stayed at in the past maybe we expected more because of that factor.'

'Nicely renovated motel. Good beds. Floor was dust free but very dirty (not recently mopped). Staff very friendly and helpfull. So in the end ok. No breakfast during weekdays, only during weekends (little disappointment).'

'I was disappointed because no towels available at pool area and when call to ask for towels I was told to give them 5 min and 30 min after I had to go to lobby to ask for towels again, didn't seem well staffed. Also this is my first experience on a Hotel where housekeeping comes in and changes garbage bags and puts towels in my room but don't clean the room, change or fix the bed sheets. Maybe Hotel policies to only do that after check out, but found that to not meet my expectations.'
