Alan was super friendly & helpful. Piper’s Hut was very well stocked and a great base to come back to after visiting the beautiful Isle of Skye.

Alan (host) was very helpful with all of the information he gave us about the island and activities. Comfortable, clean and safe place to stay. Plenty of room to park and appreciated the snacks and items in the kitchen that the host provided. Great stay!

Piper's Hut was a delight in Portree, the space was beautifully accommodating and had everything we needed, including some extra touches left for us by the owner. It was the perfect place to come back to at the end of our days of adventures. The lovely location allowed us to walk into town for dinner, leaving the challenge of parking behind. The recommendation to book reservations was no joke and should be taken seriously. Also don't wait till day of or sometimes even the day before to book because of a lack of availability of restaurants in downtown Portree.

Zero complaints about this property. Exactly as pictured. Very clean and well appointed. Amazing welcome gifts. Allen was there to greet us and make sure we knew how everything operated. He made some great recommendations for food and activities (not just the same ol’ same ol’). Quiet spot away from the hub of Portree but only 10 minute walk to everything. We were grateful to be away from the centre of town. Thanks for having such a great spot! Highly recommend

The property was in excellent condition, modern and clean. The kitchen was well stocked and the owners left out a ‘starter’ pack of bread, butter, milk cheese etc.Parking was good - right outside the front door.Not too far to walk into the town centre and a fab situation for exploring the island.Communication with the owner was excellent.Highly recommend and would definitely return.

Excellent spot

What a lovely place Alan has in Portree. Perfect fo two Alan has thought of many extras to make your stay as comfortable and relaxed as possible. We explored alot of the island from this base and had pubs and restaurants within easy reach.

Lovely, well-located place to stay

This was a wonderful stay, with great directions from Alan, extensive welcome snacks and so forth in a clean, well-designed space. Parking is easy, walking in to the center of Portree also very simple. Alan had many siggestions for what to do and lots of maps and brochures available to help with decision making. I would most definitely stay here again!

Perfekte Ferienwohnung

Ein kleine feine sehr gut ausgestattet gemütliche und auch warme Ferienwohnung. So schön nah am Zentrum von Portree. Zu Fuß nach Portree zum essen oder ins Pub einfach perfekt. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Lovely place to stay

We traveled with our daughter, who stayed in the Portree Youth Hostel. The location of the Pipers Hut was fabulous for walkjng both to the town centre and to the hostel. Alan and Megan were wonderful hosts and the studio was perfect. We only wish we had stayed for a couple more days.
