Prima modern hotel
Neya Porto is een zeer recent hotel, gelegen langs de rivier op een 15 minuten wandelen van het centrum. Het is een oude kerk die volledig verbouwd en ingericht is. Prachtige uitvoering, zeer comfortabele kamers met alle voorzieningen. Heeft een dakterras waar je aangenaam met een Port of cocktail kan genieten van de ondergaande zon. Parkeren kan betalen ondergronds, maar er is dikwijls parkeer mogelijkheid aan de overkant van de straat. Ontbijt is prima, in buffet vorm. Niets op aan te merken.

The upgrade we received was fabulous. Very large room that looked out on the garden. So quiet and comfortable. The TV reception was not good while watching movies, it kept stopping. Restaurant in the hotel had amazing food. Parking on site was a tight fit for the Audi station wagon we had rented. It required one person to get out to make sure we didnt hit anything. I would stay here again.

Neya Porto is a new hotel (2022?), right on the Duoro River. The facility is a short walk into Porto and quiet by being not directly in town. The rooms are comfortable and the window opens onto the river view. The rooftop bar has excellent service, drinks and snacks, a really nice way to finish off a day of exploring Porto. Staff are friendly and helpful. We would definitely stay here again when visiting Porto.

Friendly and helpful staff, lovely rooms overlooking the river. Only drawback was lack of parking, compounded by confusion on where to park - we ended up in public car park -which cost us 21 Euros for overnight stay. Vehicle access to front of hotel to offload bags also tricky - would have appreciated more detailed instructions prior to arrival.

The hotel was conveniently located along the bank of the Douro river, within walkable distance of the old town, with its bars and restaurants, and easy access to the tram, city bus/tuk tuk tours, and, river boat cruises. The staff at the hotel were extremely friendly and attentive, and were especially kind and helpful when my sister in law, fell and fractured her wrist, taking care of her and arranging an ambulance etc. The rooms were spacious, clean, and had tea and coffee making facilities. There was a great choice of hot and cold options for breakfast, everything was well laid out. The rooftop terrace was great for food and drink whilst enjoying views across the river. We would certainly recommend this hotel to others, and would not hesitate to return if we are ever back in Porto.

Great hotel overall. Rooms are great. Busy and noisy road, but amazing views of the river and valley. Only complaint, they didn’t tell me parking was not available at the hotel. Had to pay for private parking about a kilometer away.

Very clean great beds and pillows. We got a nice upgrade in a room with river view. The breakfast was very good and the servers were very attentive. You can park on the street if you find a spot, otherwise the parking is 10 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is 15 minutes away from the city center which keeps you away from the business of the crowds. Great experience!

Instalaciones en general en perfecto estado y todo muy limpio y aseado. Todos los dias te preparan la habitación. Algo dificultosa la comunicación pues llevan mal el Español, pero al menos se hacen por entender. El desayuno tipo buffet de buena calidad y variado, con un enfoque muy europeo, como en casi todos los hoteles que viven de ingleses y alemanes. No se puede pedir nada aparte de lo que lleves en el paquete contratado a riesgo de pagar tasas abusivas y precios carísimos, es mejor salir fuera del hotel. Ejemplo, pedir que te lleven un sándwich mixto a la habitación conlleva una tasa de 12€ aparte.

A modern, stylish and well-designed hotel right on the River Douro with fantastic amenities; a delightful rooftop bar with views over the river and city; a picturesque internal courtyard formed in part by the walls of an old monastery and church, ideal for indulging in a few of your own drinks with friends before dinner; huge and varied buffet breakfast you can’t help but overindulge in; spacious comfortable rooms. There are lots of other amenities such as a gym, bicycle hire and spa treatments we didn’t use, but I expect they’re as well-run and high quality as everything else here. Everywhere is easily in walking distance and you can see the lovely vintage trams going past the very front of the hotel and from the dining/breakfast room. The staff could not have been more welcoming, charming and helpful - they helped us with taxis, buses, restaurant bookings and lots of advice. The hotel feels like really excellent value for money - we couldn’t believe our luck at finding such a well-appointed and distinctive hotel for the money we paid. Had a wonderful stay! Would definitely recommend, the only issue we faced was that the wifi was quite inconsistent, but not a huge deal. Overall 9.5/10

Lovely clean and modern hotel with friendly staff. Good range of choices at breakfast, and a rooftop bar to finish of the evenings. About 10 minutes along the river from the Ribiera area.
