Prachtige zaak en goed gelegen voor uitstappen in het centrum. Het personeel dat er werkt is super vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het ontbijt heerlijke verse produkten en vriendelijk personeel. Taxi voor onze terugreis naar de luchthaven gereld. Dat verdient niets alles alle sterren. Een aanrader.

Een gebouw van de 19e Eeuw, volledig gerenoveerd. Er is enkel een kleine goederenlift maar men is zeer behulpzaam om te helpen dragen. Van de buitenkant ziet het er een gewoon huis uit. De inrichting is erg smaakvol. Gratis water en thee/koffie op de kamer. Het ligt in het centrum, dus stap je buiten zit je in e levendige stad Porto. Veel volk ook al was het eind mei. In de straat kan je nauweliks stoppen met de wagen (4pinkers en achter je staat een bus...). Dus bagage uit en inladen is niet handig. Parking op 600 meter. Kaart aan 15 euro per dag. Ontbijt is verzorgd, je kan zlles bijvragen. En aanrader.

Very good location. Be careful or you’ll pass right by it. The front door looks like a door to an apartment. The name is on the door. If you arrive before check in, they have a very comfortable lounge to wait at. A very convenient grocery store is just down the block from the hotel. Very walkable to many sights.

A lovely stay here. A good-sized room and bathroom with a comfortable bed and mini-bar. Really friendly staff and a welcome drink with cake on arrival! They gave us good recommendations for restaurants and boat trips on the Douro River. We stayed here for a week and really enjoyed it. We would definitely stay here again.

Great welcome from Artur. Location perfect right opposite the huge market building. Sao Bento rly sta is 10 minute walk. Driving a car here would be challenging! City is compact and easy to get around on foot. Great views around the Luis 1 bridge.

En skjult perle i Porto.....
B The Guest er en PERLE av et sted, som jeg mer enn gjerne drar tilbake til. Hadde 3 netter der, som var verd hver eneste krone, selv om det finnes rimeligere alternativer. Meget sentral og rolig beliggenhet, med stort marked rett over gaten, samt en av Porto sine beste konditorier vegg i vegg ! Og ikke minst personalet ! Hyggeligere, og mer serviceinnstilte folk finner du ikke. De bidro til en personlig og veldig hjemmekoselig atmosfære ! Terningkast 6 fra meg her !

Hôtel bien situé à Porto, bon déjeuner, beau décor, personnel accueillant. Seul Bémol, pas d’ascenseur, réception au 2e étage et les chambres au 3e, 4e étage. Heureusement qu’il y avait un monte charge pour les bagages. Nous avons apprécié le porto et le gâteau de bienvenue!

The location is in the heart of the city. Parking can be an issue but the staff know of a few spots for a decent rate. Rooms are large and have everything you need. The staff are amazing, even helped me figure out the Portuguese highway toll system. No elevator., but a dumb waiter for luggage. Well appointed breakfast included as well.

The area around the property seemed quite safe. There were a lot of food options around and the hotel is located right in front of a lovely food market. The staff was incredibly nice, attentive, and caring. The room was big and spacious. The only improvements I would suggest is to increase the brightness in the bathroom given the tiling is dark, and to ensure there are no bugs in the room before guests check in as there were two flies and a mosquito in our room which we had to chase to get rid of. We would stay at this location again.

Awesome Location and Friendly Staff
With roomy, comfortable rooms, and a great location across from the Mercado do Bolhao, this was the perfect place for our stay in Porto. The front desk host, Anna, was friendly and extremely helpful in guiding us to some of the top spots to visit in Porto. She was also very accommodating in making sure we had breakfast available prior to regular breakfast hours on the day we left early for a Duoro Wine Tour. Thank you, Anna. We are looking forward to our return to B the Guest Downtown!

Location great, cleanliness great, room great, breakfast GREAT. Excellent customer service! Special thanks to Maria and Ana (front desk) and kitchen and cleaning personnel. Best Boutique Hotel in Portugal
We can not say enough good things to say about this beautiful hotel. The front desk girls went above and beyond to make us familiar with the area and were a joy to chat with. The morning breakfast people put out a home made delight and the setting of the unique artwork is just a joy to spend time in. You are right down in the middle walking distance to everything......I can't wait to go back!!! Thank you for a wonderful experience on our first day in Portugal...

Great hotel, perfect location
Lovely boutique hotel with great staff in a central location. Good selection for breakfast, with eggs or pancakes made to order. All of the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

A lovely hotel
Well, what can I say about this hotel. Superb in every way. Maria the receptionist is the most lovely, helpful, caring receptionist I have ever met, she could not do enough for us. There is only 11 rooms so it didn't feel busy, breakfast was good, with a good selection and freshly prepared eggs. The rooms were nice, the location was amazing (right opposite a massive Indoor Market selling all sorts of produce) and next door to the most amazing bakery. Only downsides to the hotel were no lift, but it's only 3 floors and our bag was put in our room for us when we arrived. All in all a great hotel and would be happy to stay there again

While the location was clean and quiet and convenient, it was really the staff that made our stay special. Maria, Anna and Tiago went out of their way to help us out. We had trouble accessing entry tickets to Livraria Llelo and Tiago spent a lot of time going through the process online to print tickets for us. Anna joined us in a lovely conversation over glasses of complimentary port and Maria provided such a gracious and friendly checkin. The breakfasts here were the best of the ten or so on our trip and a very nice young man hailed us an Uber at checkout when there were no taxis available using his account to do so.
