Villa's in Porto District

'The home was lovely, spacious, comfortable, well-appointed and tastefully decorated. The views were outstanding. It was difficult to find restaurants nearby, and as the crow flies one was less than 2km away, but took nearly 30 minutes to drive. Next time (if I'm fortunate enough to rent this villa again), I would buy meats and vegetables (and wine of course) for a lovely dinner at the villa at least one night. I thought I read that the beds were all king-size, but now I don't see that...

'The views are stunning. The pool was great with temperatures outside between 35-39 degrees. Young and old(er) enjoyed it. The location is a bit remote, so going out for dinner is a good drive away. There are several options for walks in the area, with variations in scenery.'

'We were there with a big group of 16 men of around 20 years old and we had the best time. The big pool was great in the warm weather and there were enough pool beds. Also the pingpong table, the volleyball net and the tiny goals made sure that we didn't get bored. Doing groceries and going to the beach were doable by foot and on the first day Joao helped us doing the first groceries with his car, perfect service!'

'The home was wonderful and certainly beautiful. Our friends enjoyed sitting in the Garden and using the pool. The kitchen was great. Our kids loved the bedrooms where they stayed, and we all slept comfortably. It was easy to go to the places that we visited and some walked often. We would recommend everyone to use this home. Loved it.'

'We hadden natuurlijk deze accommodatie en plek gekozen op basis van de foto's, maar toen we aankwamen waren we alsnog verrast: wat een uitzicht! Wat een karakteristiek en sfeervol huis! We werden gastvrij en vriendelijk ontvangen door Francesco en Teresa, die ons wegwijs maakten. De kinderen hebben ook enorm genoten, van het zwembad, de piano en de katten. Wij komen misschien nog wel eens terug!'

'Very isolated, and extremley small, spent 7 nights should of only done a couple. Not walking distance to anything. There were no extra sockets to plug kettle or Toaster, wifi had the one socket in kitchen top, On very steep hills, we went to Braga and Porto both of these places are worth a visit.'
