We absolutely loved our stay here! We'd been looking to tick off a tiny house stay for the longest time & we definitely weren't disappointed!
Not looking at our maps properly, it was a lot further from most of the Blue Mountain attractions we originally planned on visiting but we honestly didn't mind in the end as we really just wanted to get away from the city and ended up spending the whole time on the property.
Kitchen worked great and we loved the eco-friendly aspect of the stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a farm stay/getaway from the city but strongly recommend those travelling for the Blue Mountains to factor in the drive to the main walks/attractions
Lovely location with beautiful sunsets. Ideal for one or two adults. You could squeeze in one or two more if you don't mind dealing with the sofa bed every morning and night, and you spend the majority of your time outdoors. Fantastic for dogs. Well fenced yard, and direct access to acres of safe off-leash zoomies.
Only 'negative' points worth mentioning are that there is no toaster (IMO a toaster is as essential as a kettle), and we felt the two houses were perhaps a little too close together for those who like solitude and privacy. On the flip side of that, booking both houses would be ideal if you have more than two adults - or even just want the place to yourselves.
This is the first time Iâve ever stayed in a âtiny house, it was lovely. Place is obviously small (some might say âtinyâ) but itâs surprisingly well organised and thereâs more than enough room for 1, probably even 2. The place had everything you could reasonable want too, good gas oven and stove, Big fridge freezer, warm and comfortable bed and a hot shower.
It rained the whole time I was staying so wasnât really able to enjoy the out door fire, as I think that would have been amazing to sit out under stars with a fire going to keep warm. As it was itâs a lovely view and if youâre looking for somewhere quiet and still to go and escape the world this is pretty much perfect.
One bit of advice I would suggest is to bring a pair of slippers to wear indoors as the floor can be very cold in winter, and itâs not nice to wear shoes inside.
Just what the doctor ordered. This place gave us a chance not only to fall off the grid but allowed the family to spend some cosy time together. Boys loved it as it was like a big cubby house. Had a great stay, thanks Amanda, we're already planning the next visit.
A lovely time away in school holidays. The farm allowed some time out without the hustle of the crowds. Easy to get to from Sydney and plenty to do and see.
Natural environment with glorious stars at night, sheep at your front fence. The sun going down over the mountains in the evening, looks like a painting the colours are so stunning. The host Amanda has ensured a sustainable and environmentally friendly stay in a tiny home. Amanda's love and passion for the land makes the stay a very memorable one. Do yourself a favour and come stay here for a break from hectic life.
WOW!! What can we say truely amazing property Amanda our host and her family were amazing!!

Amanda and her family were so accommodating we cant say enough BOOK NOW!!
We enjoyed our stay so much. It was a special birthday getaway for our little Dacshund pup Leo who turned 1 year old. He and the kids enjoyed the long walks, the scenery. Leo was fascinated by chicken, horses and sheep. We would love to come back soon.
We both had an excellent 5 nights at the Tiny House. Everything was provided for us, the house was immaculately clean, the farm was a lot of fun and great for going for walks and the farm manager gave us lots of helpful advice including how to get to our next destination due to the flooding in NSW. We would both highly recommend this property and do try the farm managers pies - very yummy.
My partner and I had an amazing time at this beautiful get away it was so quiet and relaxing
My partner and I had the best time it was so fun and also relaxing. We even took a short walk through the paddock to see the sheep and cows which is awesome since we love farm animals. This stay was so relaxing and I couldnât have asked for anything better to celebrate our anniversary. We will definitely be coming back when we need a break from being in the city thank you so much Amanda
We thoroughly enjoyed the time to get away and relax. The scenery was perfect and exactly what we needed. The yard was perfect for our dogs and we enjoyed exploring the farm.
It was a great stay at this tiny home. Very clean and the view was just perfect. Our dog had plenty of room to roam around the fenced yard. Very good for a quick getaway which is only 2 hours with nature around you at its best. Weâll definitely come back again.
Our long weekend was a nice low key getaway at the Portland tiny house. The outlook of the paddocks and rolling hills was exactly what we were after. We took our two small dogs and the tiny house had a secure fenced area for them to run around which was great.
The weather was a bit crazy, raining and terribly windy but thatâs out of anyoneâs control. We loved watching the rain travel over the hills from the comfort of the tiny house. Our last night felt like we were in a wind storm all night but that was just due to the location being exposed to the elements.
Our only criticism would be, having a stove top kettle and tea and sugar for the guests. Most hotels/motels/other locations weâve stayed at has those supplied to guests. There was a coffee machine but we donât drink coffee. Only a very small con amongst many pros.
Thanks for having us. We loved the property.
View was amazing and my bulldog was in love with the farm life. pitty about the rain, but it was still amazing sitting on deck overlooking the paddocks. Tiny home was super cute and I was amazed how warm it was on 2 degrees nights.
Amanda was an amazing host offering the kids an opportunity to see the sheep moved from one paddock to another as soon as we arrived. Watching the Kelpies work was a great experience.
The tiny-home was well appointed and laid out well for our group being one adult, 2 kids (aged 12 and 11) and our Border Collie.
The weather wasn't great but we were warm and comfortable sheltered from the conditions with electric blankets on the bed and a portable heater. Being it is a tiny-home, it doesn't take long to heat up.
All the kitchen needs are there. While you won't find a toaster or a kettle, the eco friendly style just means boiling some water on the gas stove and toasting some bread in the oven or on a pan.
A great concept and a great stay!
