This is a gorgeous house, very close to the beach and we loved our stay, but it was a surprise to be surrounded by other houses on all sides, one of which is an active construction site. I know this area is still in recovery and construction is to be expected, but an updated listing would have been helpful. The lower deck now mostly has a view of the new house built right behind it and we didn't use it at all. The upper deck has a peek of a view of the Gulf, but it is mostly overshadowed by the house next door, which has a rooftop deck looking right down on you if someone is using it. The ground level seating area is right next to the construction, which thankfully looks to be close to finished. One unexpected perk was the double-headed shower, it was very nice. We had to go back out to get coffee filters, salt and pepper. Luckily, there is a little market nearby. Otherwise, it was a great stay, just a bit different than the pictures led us to believe.

Home was clean, and exactly how the listing described it. There is a small, but nice view of the Gulf from the top deck off of the bedroom. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all conveniences of home, and there was ample parking for our car. Would definitely stay at again in the future!

Perfect location and house for a Mother daughter extended weekendâŁïž. Is as described 😊. This rental home was terrific. It has a very nice, cozy interior as well as inviting exterior, great proximity to the beach (less than a half block) and easy access from a major highway. The only two negatives were the new construction activity next to this home and the hidden rental costs. On the 2 week days of our stay, hammers and nail guns disturbed us each morning starting at 6:45 AM. We don't know if Mexico Beach has construction regulations governing construction start times but the noise was unappreciated. The other negative was the advertised price of the rental. By the time all the fees and taxes are added, the final cost is double the advertised rate. Kudos to the homeowners for creating a beautiful beach cottage but shame on the rental agencies for not being up front about the construction noise and cost add ons.

Lovely place. Decided to start a family tradition here! I’ll be returning soon. Me, husband, 11 yo, and 10 mo. Wouldn’t recommend as a couples thing given that the room is jack/jill but perfect small family. No tub for baby but kitchen sink was large enough! Love this place. Very clean! Great location! Wish the king was in the room with balcony but I understand the space would have been limited. Thanks for having us and sharing your home with others. =)

We really liked the beach house. It is a very short walk to the beach (50 yards?), quiet, convenient, and had everything we needed. Even though I was aware of the stairs, they did become kind of a bother after a while. The living room, kitchen, and half bath were on the 2nd floor and the two bedrooms and full bath were on the third floor. There is a freight elevator that would have been very helpful when unloading/loading the car, but was locked and unavailable. All in all, is recommend this project to anyone thinking of staying in Mexico Beach.

The house had everything we could need for our family of 4. It was really nice having the beach chairs. There was also a few beach toys and umbrella. The walk to the beach was so quick and easy. Location was amazing.

Loved the beach house. It’s a super easy walk to the beach to set up for the day. The area is very nice and safe. They are doing construction on the street but it didn’t bother us at all. It was nice to have the beach with just a few neighbors around!

We have decided that this is our new goto place in MB! The cottage is adorable and is the cleanest home we have ever rented! It's super convenient to the beach, restaurants, and bait store. We adore this cottage!

We have been traveling to Mexico Beach for the last eight years, and this rental is by far our favorite so far! 500 steps from the beach, but not located centrally to the city proper so the beach doesn’t get too crowded. It was a well appointed home and all the balconies make for great sunset watching. We will definitely be returning!

We loved Mexico Beach. The house and the space were perfect for me and my husband. It was clean, well equipped with everything we needed. We sat on the porches for coffee in the morning and drinks in the evening. We loved being so close to the beach to be able to walk every morning, spend time there every day and walk down to watch the sunset. Thank your for a great stay, we will be back!

Nice condo. We’re just happy the other couple that was going to join us had to cancel. The condo has no closets or dressers so we had to use the 2nd bedroom/bed as a place to store our clothes. We were living out of suit cases stacked on the bed for 2 weeks. Renters should be advised of this. Other than that we had a great time but will not rent again due to the lack of closets and/or dressers or a place to keep clothes.

Very clean and Lovely place. Easy short walk to the beach. The management company very responsive and helpful. This place has everything you need for a beach stay. I would return for sure. Be aware construction all day right outside your windows and lots of stairs if you have difficulty with stairs.

Me and my husband thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very nice and clean and not a far walk to the beach at all. A very short drive to the marina for bait and to go out on the jet skis.
