'Beautiful home, lots of space for a family of 7 or more.'

'Peaceful and beautiful. A garden filled with fresh veggies - we made salad and sautéed leeks and zucchini with our pasta for dinner. Spacious and private. 'This is a beautiful old property. We had the country suite- a huge room with sofa, table, bed and ttached very large bathroom and many architectural features. Staff was great and could not be more helpful in explaining where to go and some good local restaurants. It is quiet and safe. really not much happeningin this town- church and 1 little market. A beautiful breakfast can be delivered to your door at 8:30 AM for 12.50 euros which I would recommend since you would have to drive to have...

'We were greeted by Sandra, she was an excellent host, easy communication and she helped us with places to visit during our stay. The property was amazing with a little farm near by, with chickens, gooses, turkeys … the sunsets and sunrises were amazing. The location was near the airport and other view points. Upon arrival we were greeted with a fresh basket of eggs,bread,milk… We will return in the futur!'

'Truly fantastic all-around. From the outset and throughout, communication was easy and helpful. The place itself is in a wonderful location, perfectly appointed, and absolutely gorgeous. 'It is a nice property, but we had ants in the kitchen and a wet bathroom floor around the toilet/tub area in the lower bathroom during our whole stay. The manager told us that these type of things happen in country homes, and no adjustments would be made our bill, disappointing!'

'We enjoyed our stay- the location worked well for us. Samuel was responsive and we appreciated the pool towels and amenities. The Portuguese products and toiletries were a great touch - very thoughtful. The pool isn’t heated so we didn’t use it sadly- the weather was warm but the pool water was not. We did use the hot tub. The view is lovely and the space was great. I wish that the place was aired out before our visit as seemed stuffy and humid- but seemed to improve during the stay.'

'I have to start by saying that owner and the cleaning lady tried very hard to make things right but just couldn’t. The occupants before us left late and trashed the house so we could not fully access the property until 6 pm instead of 3 pm. We were able to hang out in the living room but it really messed up our ability to rest and clean up before going out for the evening. The second day hundreds of ants appeared in one of the bedrooms.
