Zeer behulpzaam en vriendelijk onthaalpersoneel. Ontbijt was behoorlijk maar op drukke dagen was personeel onderbezet en mede daarom geen 5 sterren waardig. Hadden driepersoonskamer die aanvoelde als een tweepersoonskamer met een extra bed. Kamer zelf was onberispelijk en iedere dag proper gemaakt. Prachtige badkamer.

Went here to celebrate my BF’s birthday. Communicated trough Expedia app and was serviced perfectly. They surprised him with a bottle of cava and a birthday cake! We had room 614, 6th floor with balcony and great view over the Atlantic. Room has a Dolce Gusto (free of charge) and a mini bar. Rooms and hotel are spotless clean, look brand new and are decorated beautifully - if that mirror would fit in my cabin luggage I would’ve taken it home with me 😉 -. Staff from valet and front desk to the waiters at breakfast, everyone’s amazingly kind and helpful. Really make you feel welcome and at ease. Good gluten and lactose free allergy options at breakfast and a nice selection of breads, fruit, fish, meat and cereal. Used both gym and swimming pool. All very clean and good equipment. Location is perfect as in the evening it seems the only place to be in Ponta Delgada is the bay in front of the hotel. Don’t look any further. This is your best option to spend your time in Saõ Miguel!

The Grand Hotel was indeed that, GRAND! It is very well appointed with a soothing color scheme based on historic nautical charts, documents, and equipment from the founding company that owns this hotel. The breakfast buffet was plentiful, had a wide variety of options, and the wait staff were very attentive, professionally dressed, and anticipated our needs. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Ponta Delgada!

This was an amazing property, and the staff was kind and helpful. The breakfast that was provided was delicious even though maybe it could have a little bit more variety. Overall, I can’t say enough things about this hotel. I was very impressed with the professionalism of the staff. The rooms were nicely appointed, and overall the location was excellent. we stayed here for six days and they were absolutely glorious. The parking is reasonably priced and is a valet system which allows for easy in and out service. Kudos to the staff and the friendliness at this beautiful hotel.

A 5-star hotel that could do with some maintenance
Our room had a few issues, the floor wasn’t that nice. In the bathroom there were some old marks/holes on the water tap switch. And water kept spilling onto the floor from the water tap leaking. Air-condition and minibar didn’t work either. Room had a decent size and an ok balcony, fast internet, broad selection of tv channels (lots of football channels). Nice welcome snacks/drink. Hotel breakfast was good. Housekeeping was ok, although missing small stuff like we didn’t get wash cloths every day. On our last night at the hotel (which was a really sunny/hot day) I called the front desk asking about the minibar..we wanted some cold drinks. And suggested maybe since it was not working that we could get some ice cubes. That will be 7 euros. I explain again that the minibar is not working..but still cost. So instead they sent 3 persons over one hour to fix that minibar…taking up precious holiday time for us. And end result no real cold drinks or happy guests. But at least the air-condition worked the last night. They hand out extra towel cards at check in (if u want to borrow towels for the hot springs), but if you lose your card, it will cost you 150 euro! Amazing price. Was an ok stay overall though..but one would expect a bit more from a 5-star hotel. Maybe next-door hotel Marina Atlantico is a better option (from hearing from someone who stayed there). Liked the balcony and view of the sunset with our room. Selection of pillows and soft sheets. Afternoon high tea is fabulous! Staff are so attentive and pleasant. Beautiful decor. Great buffet breakfast.

It was a nice hotel well located. Breakfast buffet was good. No significant changes in the 4 nights we were there.

Tolles und luxuriöses Hotel in Toplage, Flussläufig zur Stadt, Einkaufs- und Gastronomieangebote. Zimmer sind recht klein aber dafür mit Top Ausstattung. Personal sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam.

Travel agent loves Grand Pacifica hotel -Azores
Great location Great breakfast Friendly staff Great bar Would definitely stay here again!! They can also arrange either private or shared island tours. We did Green Tours full day tour with pick up/drop off at the hotel and we loved it!!
