'Stayed at this location for my 30th birthday. It's quite local to the historic district of Jim Thorpe and the views of being in a borough were beautiful. I stayed in the Studio Store Front and I loved the layout and retro decor; it was very spacious for a studio. The parking is behind the building for all apartment rentals, therefore, you do have to walk around the block to the Studio Door. The pillows and mattress were comfortable. The only downside is that there is no storage for clothing (if...

'Close to everything…campus and restaurants/bars. Very clean and safe place to stay. Has an elevator. lots of rules to follow but will Definitely stay there again. Would have liked to stay longer. Beds were very comfortable! Highly recommend!'

'This property was a great place to stay. It was very clean and was nicely furnished including an arcade game which was fun. It’s very close to Jim Thorpe and was walkable to several restaurants. I was in town for a Reading & Northern train ride and it’s only about 15 minutes from the train station in Nesquehoning. I will definitely try to stay here again in the future if I’m in the area. '

'Perfect size apartment for 2 people. Private parking at the residence is a big plus. It is quiet. We did not hear any noise from other guests. Many shops to browse, and tours of The Old Jail and Asa Packer Mansion. Would recommend this property.'

'Me and my family stayed here back in April of 2025 and had the BEST experience. The house was very clean and organized and it truly felt like home. There wer no restrictions on the amenities like the fireplace or the outdoor grill and the host were very friendly and responsive. As long as you follow the rules (which are not crazy) and clean after yourself you'll be good to go. I'd happily stay here with my family again. '

'This property was perfect for a large group of women enjoying a girls weekend. Would also be perfect for families with children. Water was hot for all of us to get showers. Kitchen was well equipped. There were plenty of extra folding chairs to use around the large kitchen table. We loved having three living / common areas. Abi is a great host, very responsive to questions and overall communication was great! I would not hesitate to book this property again!'

"This was, I think, the creepiest place I've ever stayed. I do have to mention that the woman at the front desk was absolutely lovely--but she was the only good part of my stay. There were a couple of the tiny roaches in my shower both times I showered (I had to stay two nights). My door looked like it had been mangled in a knife fight. The hallway looked, no joke, very much like the hallway in The Shining. I felt safe enough, like physically, once I had locked the doors-- but it felt very dirty in there. I wouldn't blacklight it. The location was convenient. This is the kind of place you stay when there's no other option and that's why I chose it. My sister joked that the M stands for Murder. "
