- Water Sports: Kerguelen is renowned for water sports, including surfing, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, and more. Rentals are available for jet skis, catamarans, paddleboards, windsurfing boards, etc. The large beach at Fort Bloqué is ideal for all kinds of water activities: paddleboarding, canoeing/kayaking, windsurfing, and kitesurfing, as well as diving around the fort or—for the more experienced—spearfishing for spider crabs and lobsters.
