'The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and the breakfast was great! They also helped us with rides to and from the airport. Our room was near the entrance so it was a little noisy, but not too bad and the beds were really comfortable. I’d definitely stay here again.'

'Fantastic stay at La Basilica Quito. Great location with good security, very friendly owners and staff. English spoken. Very clean and nice rooms, comfortable beds and bathroom with all amenities. Some of the rooms are located in-house, which makes them a bit stuffy due to lack of ventilation, but this is minor. Right in the hart of Old Quito at 5 minutes walk from historic square with cathedral, museums, presidential palace, and also the National Basilica. '

'We really enjoyed our stay. We had the Amazon (luxury) room and it was great. Loved the bed ! Firm and really comfortable! Soaker tub and complimentary wine was also nice. Freddy in the restaurant and all staff were great. We walked to centre of old town from the hotel within 10-15. We felt safe in and around old town Quito. 'Hotel location directly on the central plaza is amazing. All Old Town Quito attractions are within easy walking distance. The hotel itself is stunning, beautiful historic decor. Room was beautiful. The best part of our stay however was the staff, so warm and welcoming. They paid attention to every detail and provided great service. Breakfast was delicious, wish we could have stayed longer '
