'What a magical spot nestled in Playa Avellanas! We loved our time at Cabinas Las Olas - the rooms are great - clean and super comfortable. The grounds of the hotel are absolutely gorgeous and we loved the rustic boardwalk which led to the most stunning beach. The food was absolutely delicious and everything felt super safe and clean. 'L’endroit est tout simplement magnifique, tranquille, que 6 petites maisonnettes personnelles et décoré avec goût. 'The staff were great ! The location is conveniently 15-20 mins to Tamarindo, which can save you a lot on the cost of staying in tamarindo. You can also arrange shuttle with them from the airport which is only about an hour away. The host is SUPER responsive through WhatsApp. You can also, pay through their payment system there and they will give you cash which is a great way to avoid looking for an ATM. '

'When you arrive through the durt road 2 min from town, you immediatly smell the garbage in the street that is left outside. This wasnt a good start for us. But The hotel looks like the pictures, the room was Nice. the pool is smaller And the water in the pool wasnt that clear (or clean) the hospitality is very good. 'I spent two days here and it was unlike any other lodge/hotel I’ve been to before. The rooms are beautiful, the pool is stunning, the jungle gym is also such an amazing addition but nothing tops the the host himself, he made sure every question was answered and I truly felt at home almost 4000 km from Canada. Pura vida!!'
