Positief: Netheid, staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
This was a wonderful place to stay. If you are looking for a High-End Tourist Experience, this is not it. It's a basic CLEAN hotel. However, it had what many hotels lack: a friendly atmosphere that made it seem like home. Whether coming or going, the staff always gave me a friendly smile & asked if I needed anything. I really didn't want to leave!
Quiet is HIGH on my list and it was great. I also enjoyed the fact that the street was a nice, normal street and not filled with roaming drunk tourists. It was an easy walk to all of my destinations.
The WiFi wasn't working at the station in my room, but I was able to connect to another on the list -- not always the strongest signal, so if you're working remotely, this might not be the best choice. It was fine for what I needed, however. There wasn't a hair dryer in my room, but the receptionist was able to provide one for me, as well as a large umbrella on the days that it poured rain.
I was disappointed to find out that breakfast was not available as stated in the ad, however, coffee was prepared and available every morning near reception. For breakfast, there's a very affordable and cute place right on the corner. The pillows were a little too hard, so I think they should invest in a few soft ones to give guests a choice.
The pool and patio area were lovely. Lots of interesting and beautiful plants. SUPER relaxing. I will definitely consider coming here again.
