'Customer service here was attentive and friendly. The attached cafe is excellent. The pool was always clean and a good temp, and the locations is fantastic. The only things to keep in mind are that you will hear roosters starting at 4am and they will crow until aprox 10pm and there is currently construction next door but they wait till 8am to start so it wasn’t much of a bother for us.'

'Place is clean and safe place would highly recommend. There is no breakfast on site. But very walkable food restaurants everywhere. Beach just down the street. The owners and staff very accommodating they placed a TV I our room and coffee and coffee maker for us to use. We had a mini fridge to put our items in. The most remarkable gesture was putting a screen on our window to keep any mosquitos out. Just because I’m a magnet for mosquitos But the place really didn’t have a problem with...

'It was very clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast was good. Everyone was friendly. Only a few minutes walk to beach or downtown area. Perfect location. Only complaint was hot water for shower didn't last long. You get about 3 minutes before it starts to cool. I would stay again.'

'Loved my stay at Marakame. The room was big and nicely decorated. The bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows. Housekeeping did a great job and everything was very clean. The front desk staff we are all incredible and super accommodating. I loved the pool and the hotel overall had a chill vibe. I also really liked the location as it was in a quiet area but not a far walk to everything. Would highly recommend. '
