'The couple who owns the place was very nice, accommodating and friendly. You have to pay attention when you first arrive, as the area is not marked very well. the beds were very comfortable and the view from the balcony was perfect. '

'Property is fantastic beautiful views and view of small waterfall. Walk around property and enjoy the nature, river, waterfall. Property manager on site was super friendly and helpful. Three story type house. Kids loved the bunk at the top. Easy walk to town for food and groceries. We stopped here between drive from SJO and La fortune and stayed one night then went to blue falls great stop!! '

'Heel teleurgestellend. Niet omdat het slecht weer was (daar hadden we rekening mee gehouden) maar wat we niet dachten is dat een hotel faciliteit daar niet goed op in kan spelen. Het effect was dat we het erg koud en ongezellig hebben gehad. Zeker omdat er in de villa's geen internet verbinding is. Daarvoor moet je naar de centrale ruimte (die weer erg koud is). Dit alles wel voor ongeveer 200 euro per nacht.'

'Rooms are old and bathrooms doesn’t flush properly. There are no other attractions around and have to go to la fortuna for any activity which is an hour drive. The resort is good with thermal spas and pools .'

'We had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at the lodge. We only wish we could have stayed longer. The views were magnificent. The hospitality, decor, landscape, and the food are intentionally conscientious.'

'The property seems quite old and could benefit from some updates. The bed sheets did not feel very clean, and the blanket was shedding material, which made it uncomfortable to use. There was also no bedside table in the room, which would have been helpful. With better maintenance and attention to these details, the stay could be improved.'

'This stay was perfect for us, the A/C works perfectly, the shower water was spectacular. We were only here for one night since we just needed a stay that would get us closer to our next stop and didn’t want to drive late at night but we definitely wouldn’t mind staying longer to relax. The host is very friendly and kind she goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed! '

'The room was in good condition, but things were old, but it was clean and it was comfortable. Had a nice fireplace. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was OK. Dinner was all right. Breakfast was fine however, the hotel is located in a very remote area and to get there, we had to travel on a very steep narrow curvy road that took us a very long time and then as we made the turn to get to the hotel, the road was unpaved and filled with potholes and really craters, and the 4 miles...
