The home was clean the showers were fantastic. Great water pressure, towels were abundant and smelt fresh.It was a good home and wonderful location unfortunately truly did not sleep six. There were blankets, but no bedding for the pullout beds. Only two beds other sleeping accommodations are a pullout, twin and a couch. Thankfully, we brought our own air mattress and bedding. The air mattress that was provided did not hold air. Perhaps when describing the location say to the right of the main office. We did eat at the diner across the street, but they did not honor the discount.The Butcher’s Nook is fantastic! Please support them. They are new owners and their to go sandwiches are so filling, fresh and shareable. We went in there to grab donuts, great coffee, and had sandwiches made to go on our excursion for the day. Went back the next day for a homemade breakfast. Quinns for dinner was delicious either the Tavern or the restaurant depending on your budget. We also went and supported several of the businesses in the Amish community. Plains is sometimes overlooked but offers a wonderful weekend or extended getaway.
