'Mooie authentieke villa. Kamer was nogal gehorig, beetje donker en we misten koffie/theefaciliteit op de kamer. Ontbijt had wel wat gevarieerder gemogen. Accommodatie en kamers waren erg schoon. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.'

'We chose Pistoia as the base for a two-day visit to Florence. This plan worked great.
Hosts Carlo and Lucia have a quirky compound located a short walk from the train station. We parked our rental car for the duration, and used the regional train service (frequent and cheap) to get to Florence.

'A national rail strike in Italy on the day we were supposed to arrive upended all our plans, resulting in our arriving very late. The hotel accommodated our late arrival so we were able to check in with no problems. Beautiful hotel, excellent breakfast'

Have loved to stay longer. Fabio was extremely helpful and welcoming. Ensuring we knew how to operate all the modern up to date facilities. It was absolutely spotless, extremely well maintained and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was beautifully presented, very fresh, with everything you could wish for. Honestly have put on a few pounds. Short walk to main square which has plenty of bars and restaurants. Loved it.
