Not a place I would ever stay again. Only stayed one of three nights booked. Of the two lights in the ceiling only one worked. No desk lights or table lamps. No desks or tables or chairs in the room. Very small very cramped. Very little room to hang clothing. A shower was an open area in the toilet room. No tissue to blow my nose. Very limited counter space and virtually no cupboard or closet space.
I did ask the proprietor if he would consider refunding half of our payment since we only stayed one of three nights. Received no reply.
This might be your go to place if you have very little belongings, have no need for the downtown area, and just want privacy and want to read a book. This would probably be a good spot. Not what we came for.
Also this is not a place for people with walkers or wheelchairs. Uneven surfaces, steps to climb, no handicap accessibility. Additionally the slate stone sidewalks can be treacherous and slippery when it rains. And it rains a lot in the summer.
