'Onverwacht een hele goede zet. Prachtig hotel, lekker ontbijt goede accommodatie en bovenal een fantastisch uitzicht van het meer. Uitzicht lijkt wel net een schilderijtje. Indien nodig kan je aan het zuurstof en mate de coca in overvloed. De bedden waren eveneens een pluspunt. Heerlijke bedden!'

Romario and Freddy were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They even took the time to give us a tour of the surrounding area, which made our stay even more memorable. 'The location of this small hotel was perfect, directly at the shore of the lake, with rooms with lake view (we could choose our own room!). The owners were very hospitable. They picked us up at the bus station themselves (while our bus was an hour late!). One of them spoke fairly good English and he explained us a lot about the surroundings. The hotel was situated about 12k outside of Puno, it was a very quiet place. The owners were always willing to take us to the center of Puno (15 min drive)...

'The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff provided excellent service. The public spaces were beautiful. The restaurant food was good. The only downside was the main city center is around a 35 minute walk or 10 minute drive from the hotel, which didn't bother us much at all. It was only about 10-15 soles to take a cab or tuktuk.'

'We maintain contact with the person in the hotel before arrive, but the boat delays 20 minutes or more to pick me up at the port. The pictures of the website do not reflect the place. There is NO restaurant in there, niether Hot water Nor heating in the room. With the temperature at 5 centigrades or less. I left the hotel the next morning. No BUFFET BREAKFAST. To much lies'

'The hotel itself was great, but we had a hiccup with the management as they insisted that we pay for the room after we showed them the receipt that we already paid with Expedia. As soon as we got Expedia involved, they reimbursed us, but it was frustrating to deal with while tired from traveling. Other than that, the hotel itself was lovely with hot water in the shower a lovely breakfast and convenient location.'
