Edgeworth house is a comfortable 3 bedroom home in Beautiful Fountain Hills AZ. the Fountain Park is a great place to do any feel good activity while enjoying the views of the McDowell mountains,the Fountain boasts a rise of 565 feet in the air. the Master Bedroom is over sized with its own full bath. There are two queen bedrooms and a smaller room that has a trundle set of twins.there is an eat in kitchen.spacious living space .The house is light and bright.with a nicely terraced Desert and Palm tree back yard Oasis.There is a non-heated pool on the property.Come and experience the retreat atmosphere of the contemporary warm town minutes away from Spring training games,Casino, Concerts,Hiking

I got bug bites on day five of my stay. I assumed they were bedbugs at the time. The host got pest control to look into it after we left and the host said that pest control said they could not find any bedbugs. Regardless I definitely got some kind of itchy red spots all over while I was there. The day after we left, there were no new spots and the bites I had stopped being itchy. Did not look as if the property is looked over for cleanliness between guests. There were quite a few dead bugs under the bed in the master bedroom. Fridge had food and drink in it when we arrived; I assume from previous guests. When I booked this property in September and while we were staying at the property, the Pool description definitely said heated (even though the description now says non-heated).In general the host was abrupt, very disrespectful and not easy to work with. Due to the bug bites, we left with two nights left on our stay. I thought it was not unreasonable to ask the host for a refund, this was the response I got: “Thomas As I told you I had a client in the house for a long period of time prior to you checking in there were no issues. I had my pest control company go over and look at the entire house and there is no bed bugs. That inspection was billed to 150.00 so I will not be refunding any of the money for the rent and feel like you should pay the payment for the visit from the pest control visit.”

Arizona gem!

We so enjoyed our stay here. Fountain Hills is a lovely community and we appreciated the proximity to Phoenix and area attractions. The home itself is beautiful, the backyard landscaping and pool area was gorgeous and exactly what we wanted!

Edgeworth Fountain Hills

We just finished our second season at Marijo's house in Fountain Hills. Both times we had a clean, comfortable and adequately spacious house for our three week stay. Everything worked and the house was well appointed with kitchen ware and most other supplies (we had to purchase soap and tp).The pool is a definite asset.Enjoy!!The only downside is an immediate neighbor who is not the best external housekeeper. They were not problematic and stayed to themselves. Their house is not maintained in the same manner as the rest of the neighborhood - which is nicely cared for.

Great house…,but NOT a Heated pool as advertised

House was lovely and great space for us. We were all very disappointed that the pool was actually not a heated pool and couldn’t use. Before we even arrived, we were notified that there was a quick turn around needed on the day we checked out because new people were coming in that day. We felt very pushed out before we even arrived for our work and vacation with family. I was messaged about 6-7 times asking when we would be out for the cleaners to come in?!

Wonderful family stay.

This home worked out great for our family of multiple generations. The pool felt refreshing on those hot days. The open living room was a great place to congregate. We loved walking in the neighborhood, and we were five minutes from a grocery store. Super convenient!

We enjoyed our stay in Fountain Hills at this lovely home. Everything was just as the photos showed and the backyard was peaceful and beautifully landscaped. Communication with owner was easy and check in was a breeze. We will definitely stay here again should we return to the area.

Edgeworth is Worth It

Basically, everything was as depicted on the VRBO website. Clean. Spacious. Adequately appointed. The pool was a plus as was the grill. Nice, quiet neighborhood and the independence of a single family home with a garage. Marijo was great to work with.

Serene Abode in the Desert

I was very pleased with the location & overall ambiance of this house - it seemed everything to do on our baseball Spring Training visit was fairly close: 30 minutes to great hikes & baseball, 45 to the ghost town Goldfield & Lost Dutchman Museum, and only 25 to Lake Saguaro Guest Ranch where we booked kayaking on the lake - just awesome. We walked to Fountain Park & groceries are only 3 minutes away by car. Even though the neighbors are close, the privacy was great - it was quiet and tranquil; stargazing was wonderful. The house was easy to access with the key code & we appreciated getting to park in the garage with the remote provided. There were a few hiccups, as the TV's are NOT Smart TV's as is in the listing & I was told; they have limited DirecTV satellite channels. The house does need some TLC to make it a solid 10 - the BBQ ignitor didn't work, there were non-working clocks (even after I bought new batteries), light bulbs were out, missing bathroom sink plug - stuff like that. Overall, we would definitely go back - we had a great time and enjoyed this house! Thanks Marijo!

Winter Get Away

The property was well appointed and had everything we needed. The backyard and pool were beautiful and well maintained. The pictures on the site depicted the property perfectly. Mari Jo communicated quickly each time I had a question from the time we booked right through our stay. We would definitely stay here again.

Dec 2023 stay

Clean and well situated near the Fountain and grocery store. Checking in information was not sent due either to manager or VBRO not forwarding the code information. Calling the manager phone number elicited no mail box set up and texting failed. Manager finally got message, ? from VRBO and called and met us to let us into the unit. Clean and well stocked. Guest shower plugged and we had to apply Draino to clear it. The TV set had only five stations and was not a smart TV so we were unable to stream content. Internet worked OK. Showers went hot and cold when other fixtures turned on. Back deck and yard nice but front drive way very steep so a little difficult for older people to load and unload car. Garage was nice although there was no remote garage door opener so we had to get out of the car to open and close it from inside. Fountain Hills is lovely and quiet yet close to outdoor trails and Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale sites. Mild disappointment with house but all in all had a good time and wonderful weather.

Perfect Family Getaway!

This home was the perfect getaway for our family of 4! The kiddos each had their own room and the trundle bed was super fun! This home has all that you would need for your stay - just bring yourself and suitcase! You’re very close to downtown Fountain Hills - near all of the shops, restaurants and parks. Loved the tranquility and quietness of the neighborhood and home. The backyard is so relaxing! The pool is beautiful but the water is still a bit chilly in late March/April to swim. We loved our stay and would love to come back next year!

My wife and I had a great time staying at Edgeworth. Marijo was great to work with. She gave us some great tips on local restaurants. The house was clean and had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful, my wife and I walked it in the mornings. The location was close to everything. The backyard was beautiful and a great place to kick back and relax. We would definitely stay here again !

Good Rental Rate in Fountain Hills

Overall this rental is good and everything is accurately listed... however, this rental did lack all cable/TV.... we spent most of our days at a family members home elsewhere, but we had little kids and would retreat home early to put them to sleep and a lack of TV was a huge bummer. I would suggest the property owner to just purchase a ROKU or Apple TV (since there was internet).. It would have been a quick solution. Other than that they had plenty of towels, pillows, beds were comfy, and there was plenty of space. Pool was nice but not heated so pretty chilly for end of November!
