I am writing to express concerns about my recent stay at the Knights Inn. Upon checking in, I discovered the room was a smoking roomâsomething I was not made aware of at the time of booking. The smell of smoke and mustiness was overwhelming and made the room uncomfortable.
In addition to the odor, the room had several maintenance issues. The toilet was unstable at the base, creating a safety concern, and the toilet paper holder had clearly been ripped from the wall and was poorly reattached using multiple exposed screws. These issues gave the room a neglected and unclean appearance.
During my stay, a storm caused a power outage, which was understandably beyond anyone's control and resolved within a day. However, on the final night of my stay, the power went out againâthis time only in my roomâin the middle of the night. This added further inconvenience and discomfort, especially without any communication or support from staff during the incident.
I hope youâll consider this feedback seriously, as it reflects the need for better maintenance and clearer communication regarding room conditions during booking. I would appreciate a response regarding any steps that can be taken to make this right.
