"The rooms were spotlessly clean, with housekeeping service twice a day, which we really appreciated. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was excellent — very generous, with fresh eggs made to order. The overall atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. However, we didn’t find the hotel restaurants particularly cosy, and the prices felt a bit steep considering the quality of the food served."

"We truly loved the absolutely remote location of Diana Dea Lodge – it’s a peaceful hideaway surrounded by nature. That said, reaching the hotel is a bit of an adventure: the steep, winding road up requires some confidence, especially when navigating the occasional oncoming car in the dark. The lodge itself is beautifully designed, with warm wooden interiors that create a cozy and natural feel. The atmosphere varied quite a bit during our stay – it was very quiet on weekdays, while the weekend brought in more (seemingly younger) guests, likely there just for a short break. Breakfast was generous and tasty, though it’s pre-prepared rather than à la carte. A highlight was definitely the cappuccino – one of the best we’ve ever had! Dinner was tasty as well: while the portions were on the smaller side and the menu a bit limited (and not cheap), the quality and flavors were excellent. There’s no gym on-site, but the comfort of the room makes up for that. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the bath with a view over the landscape was a real treat. All in all, a special place to disconnect and enjoy the quiet, natural beauty of Réunion."
