Two storey contemporary eco house in elevated position with large views southwards at the fork of the Valle Umbra and Valle Tiberina. Its location is on the northern periphery of the city of Perugia. The property is built into a hill and one enters the living/kitchen area at the top level. One bedroom suite is on this level, the other three bedrooms and bathrooms downstairs. Outdoor terrace on top level with open fire with grilling facilities plus dining table and coffee table and chairs. Big beautiful views from all bedrooms and living room overlooking quintessential
Umbrian landscape of olive groves and hills. An 8 x 4 swimming pool is located in the olive grove with reclining chairs and table and chairs for entertaining. It is visible from the house and sitting room/terrace.

Heel mooi huis op een prachtige plek
Het moderne huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. De gebruikte materialen en de inrichting zijn van goede kwaliteit en met smaak uitgekozen. De bedden zijn goed. Het uitzicht is oogverblindend mooi. De tuin is groot, rustig, heeft veel privacy en geeft veel gelegenheid om onder een olijfboom een rustig en schaduwrijk plekje te zoeken. Het zwembad is heerlijk. Er zouden beneden wat comfortabele stoelen geplaats kunnen worden. Caroline, de contactpersoon is een prettige en snel handelende persoon die goed communiceert.

Prachtig gewoon
We verbleven met 7 personen een week in dit vakantiehuis. De prachtige moderne woning is hoogwaardig afgewerkt, wordt zeer goed onderhouden, werd ons heel proper aangeboden en is omgeven door een adembenemend landschap. Ook het zwembad was zeer aangenaam. Een parasol had daar soms echter wel van pas gekomen. Het contact met Caroline verliep ook zeer vlot, probleemloos en aangenaam. Zij was ook steeds ter beschikking bij eventuele vragen of problemen. Die zijn er bij ons gelukkig niet geweest. De enige puntjes die wij kunnen bedenken die iets minder waren, is dat er geen airco aanwezig was (enkel ventilators) en dat er in het dorpje zelf niets deftig te vinden valt van horeca ofzo. De supermarkten zijn er echter wel zeer goed! Kort samengevat was het voor ons een fantastische vakantie, waarvoor dank!

We enjoyed our stay in villa verde very much, the house is very comfortable, good kitchen and the views from upstairs rooms are absolutely amazing. Would recommend to stay here. Only negative is the cooling system, especially upstairs warms up during the day, the ceiling fan helps a bit but an extra air condition unit would help to get a temp of 22/23 C. Caroline was very friendly and a good host, thanks very much.

We enjoyed almost everything: View, location, house, pool. The only thing that was missing was the air condition. The heat outside 34-36'C made our stay not comfortable inside. After sun bathing it was difficult to cool down and rest. Sleeping was dificult too.

A beautiful home in a beautiful location
We had wonderful stay while celebrating a birthday and exploring Umbria. The house was just lovely; very spacious and comfortable. The view was postcard worthy, especially early morning and late evening. The pool was a welcome oasis in the July heat. Caroline was exceptionally welcoming and helpful. We loved it there! :)

Outstanding property
We (wife & I, our kids and their spouses) stayed here in mid-April. Six people in all. The layout of the property is perfect. The views are magnificent. The weather was a bit stormy and cool so we didn't get to use the outdoor space much, but it was easy to see that it's idyllic. The kitchen was the best outfitted one I have seen in a rental. I'm a former chef so it's great to see a kitchen were care has been taken for proper china, stemware, good knives, cutting board and implements. There is even olive oil from their olive trees on the property available in the kitchen. The property mgr, Caroline, was wonderful to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had. We had a bit of a challenge to find the property initially since Google maps is not very accurate in that area. I highly recommend contacting Caroline for exact directions. Don't trust Waze or Maps. We could have stayed there for weeks and been happy. Only regret was not having more time there.

We first stayed here around a decade ago, and always meant to return. The position of the house and its architecture is peerless, and Caroline is a great host - communicative and efficient. Would highly recommend and hopefully we won’t leave it as long until the next visit. One tiny update for the visitors’ notes: the Italian toll road system now accepts credit cards, so you needn’t worry about getting cash out before your trip.

We stayed at Villa del Verde in July 2022 and really enjoyed it there. The house is very modern and comfortable, just as shown in the pictures. The view is just amazing and the garden with the olive trees is magnificent. Thanks to the shade of the olive tree by the pool, you can enjoy your time at the pool even when it is hot. Caroline took very good care of us. We can highly recommend the house!

Traumhaftes Haus in abgeschiedener Lage
Das Haus liegt auf einem schönen Hügel mit traumhaften Blick Richtung Assisi. Der Weg zum Haus ist abgelegen, schottrig und steil. Restaurants sowie Supermärkte sind in ein paar Fahrminuten entfernt gelegen. Größere Städte wie Perugia und Assisi sind in ca 20 Minuten erreichbar. Das Haus ist super ausgestattet, wir durften sogar vom Olivenöl aus dem eigenen Garten probieren. Pfannen, Teller, Tassen etc waren ausreichend vorhanden. Selbst Waschmittel und Spülmaschinentabs sowie Gewürze waren da. Die Zimmer waren super sauber und sehr großzügig geschnitten. Die passive Kühlung des Hauses sowie tagsüber geschlossene Jalousien haben für eine angenehme Kühle im Haus gesorgt. Einzig die Klimaanlage war in einem der vier Zimmer im Erdgeschoss unangenehm deutlich zu hören. Der großzügige Garten hat zum entspannen wie auch zum Spielen eingeladen. Der Pool mit ca 8x4m und 2m Wassertiefe sorgt für angenehme Abkühlung an heißen Tagen. Die Sonnenliegen laden ein im Schatten der zahlreichen Olivenbäume zu relaxen. Die Unterkunft ist sehr zu empfehlen. Selbst der Austausch bei Fragen mit der Verwalterin des Hauses war problemlos und super schnell .

We were 3 couples staying in the villa for 5 nights. The place was amazing/modern and well equipt. Caroline the host was very helpful and available. The only thing to improve was the wifi. We highly recommend staying there while visiting Emilya Romanga.
