Vakantie en citytrip naar Perry

Hotel is very clean and in good condition. Staff was efficient if not particularly friendly. The clerk who checked me in did not make eye contact with me during the process. Big issue for those staying more than a night or two: the beds are very firm and became uncomfortable after our second night there. I literally dreaded going to bed. Our travel plans had us staying four nights and we were looking forward to our departure. Breakfast is what you would expect and good enough. I want to point out the food appears to be heated on the steam tables as it sits there. Not sure if this is the correct procedure. On the two mornings I got there early, the various items were quite cold. On the two mornings I got there later, eggs and the breakfast meat ran very low before they were refilled (with cold food). One morning, biscuits were completely empty and sausage nearly so and they were not replaced for about fifteen minutes (I was working on my lap top in the breakfast area so as not to wake my husband in our room every morning). If you’re pressed for time, I’m not sure if the “hot” breakfast is a selling point here.

Although this hotel is comfortable and most of the staff is very friendly and accommodating, a room rate in the &300’s is still quite high given the level of amenities, furnishings, type of breakfast, etc. It is a very convenient location to the university of Rochester especially when events at the university occur at various hours of the day. For future, I plan on staying again at this hotel only if the rates are more reasonable.

Net gerenoveerd hotel. Goed personeel. Goede locatie. Goed ontbijt. Wel luidruchtige gasten, maar daar kan het hotel niks aan doen.
