'Het hotelpersoneel was zeer vriendelijk. Maar de kamer waar wij verbleven was erg vies. Ik heb er op mijn slippers gelopen en dat doe ik niet snel. Er zaten op veel plekken muren, gordijnen, vloer verschillende vlekken. Het is ook een oud hotel dus ik begrijp dat dongen dan verouderen maar dit was qua prijs kwaliteits verhouding niet oké. 'The rooms were renovated but there were some things they never did to make the reno complete. The vent exhaust cover looked terrible it was screwed in with drywall screws and cracked , the water supply pipe was rusted and the cover plate was rusted as well . No exhaust fan working o bathroom .'

'Duck Haven was the perfect getaway for my boyfriend and I. We were able to explore during the day and have a nice and cozy apartment to come back to at night. I loved being able to look out our window and see the sheep, and looking at the horses as we pulled up the driveway. Dona was a very accommodating host, and her tour of the sanctuary on the property was so interesting and fun!'

'We wanted to take a few days and escape from the rat race of Pinellas County. Unfortunately, during the months of February-March, this area of Florida is packed with Snowbirds, Spring training fans, and early Spring breakers. Finding an affordable escape is not easy. We were fortunate to find this location in Hernando county that was quiet, affordable, and away from it all. The hosts were helpful and interested in our enjoying our stay. We would definitely like to stay here again!'

'Amazed with the cleanliness of the apartment and friendliness of the owners. The apartment is a converted barn/horse stalls and they did a great job making it feel like home away from home. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, toaster oven, coffee pot, and even a crock pot! We toured the sanctuary on our 2nd day and Dona’s passion for the animals shined as she told us about each one and her efforts to conserve some of the species she houses. We cannot wait to return.'

'Cozy cabin right on the Withlacoochee river. We loved the screened front porch and brand new kitchen. This spot on the river is really beautiful, the water was really low when we visited but we still really enjoyed getting in to cool off and play with the kids. Super fire pit set up as well (with firewood!)'

'It was a very cute property, very spread out with lots of land to have fun with family and friends. It was clean and had a little of all we needed. They even have a second bathroom and shower in case you both have to use one and there is only one in your RV. But stuff we wish we were warned of from reading other reviews… 1. 'This place was a great place to stay, we had such a relaxing time and the kids had plenty to do. There were kayaks to use and we went fishing and relaxed by the fire. They even set up a projector outside and they had popcorn and which was a huge hit with the kids. Only con I would say was the camper could have been a little bit cleaner and I would say to bring your own blankets and sheets. Overall, we had a great time and Sandra was so responsive and helpful for whatever we needed.'
