Negatief: Netheid, voorzieningen en staat van de accommodatie en faciliteiten
I reserved a non-smoking room, but upon arrival I was immediately disappointed. The front desk clerk was extremely rude, demanding my ID and telling me to “go check the room” with no professionalism at all. When I entered the first room, I was hit with a strong stench of smoke even though I specifically requested non-smoking.
When I finally reached the room assigned to me, the door looked like it had been forced open. The door frame was so loose that it felt unsafe, as if anyone could just push it in. Inside the room, I found cigarette butts on the floor and overall it was the dirtiest hotel room I’ve ever seen.
When I brought these issues to the front desk, instead of offering help, the clerk yelled at me and told me to leave if I wasn’t happy. I politely asked for a refund, but he rudely said that since I had paid by card it was “too late” and only if I had paid cash would it be possible. When I asked to speak to a manager, he brushed me off and told me again to just leave.
I contacted Expedia for help, and even they confirmed that the hotel was rude and uncooperative.
Overall, this Comfort Inn was unsafe, unsanitary, and completely unprofessional. I would never stay here again and strongly advise others to avoid it.
