We stayed at Argo Pattaya Pool Villa with a large family group (two couples, two babies, and a nanny).
The villa is newly built and looks modern. The pool and overall facilities are nice. However, several issues significantly affected our stay.
First, cleanliness was below expectations from the beginning. While some areas looked fine, cleaning was not done thoroughly. Areas under the carpets/rugs did not seem to be cleaned, which was concerning, especially since we were staying with babies.
Second, the kitchen setup was unclear. Although this is a pool villa, the kitchen is only a kitchenette with a microwave, and no real cooking is possible. This was not clearly explained in advance.
Third, there were repeated communication issues with BBQ rental service. We only found out about the BBQ rental (500 THB) after calling ourselves. On both the second and third days, we booked the BBQ for 4:30 PM, but it arrived late each time after we had to follow up by phone. Repeating the same issue shows poor coordination.
After the second delay, I requested to speak with the manager at checkout and was promised a meeting. However, at checkout I was told the manager had already left for Bangkok without any notice. I left my email for follow-up.
It has now been five days with no response at all.
Overall, the villa has potential, but cleanliness, communication, and service follow-up are disappointing, especially for families and group stays.
