'We usually eat at Italian Prime when we stay at The Delevan, but we were downtown checking out Allentown and grabbed a bite there. Made it back to enjoy the music and several (and i use that term loosely) cocktails at The Chandelier Bar..Ade Adu provided the music and the bartenders were excellent, as always. This has become our favorite weekend getaway'

'Breakfast was decent, there were bagels, bread for toast, self serve condiments, cereal, defrosted breakfast sandwiches similar to jimmy dean’s sandwiches (didn’t know if its pork sausage) not labeled, waffle maker. On one day, there wasn’t any syrup for the waffles, but there was sugar free syrup self served cups, but they tasted old when I tried it. 'Clean and well organized kitchen. Spacious living area with basic but attractive layout and decor. Having a separate bedroom was very nice. The grooming area, with lighted mirror, sinks, closet, abundant drawers was separate from the toilet and bath which is nice. One glaring oversight was positioning the bed directly and almost touching the heating/cooling unit. No one enjoys sleeping with cold or hot air blowing on them. I turned it off for the night, grateful that the weather was temperate....

'The staff was friendly, but the hotel is very old and rundown. The reception area and hallways are OK, but the rooms are very small and very dirty. Water pressure was very bad. No space for toiletry bags next to the sink. Never again for us.'

'The young woman working the front desk at our check-in was very welcoming and helpful with informing us about the local neighborhood's offerings for restaurants and exploring. The morning front desk and breakfast staff were also very welcoming the night after our stay. I would also rate the breakfast offerings above average and the food area was very well organized and very clean. The only negative to our stay was that our morning showers were lukewarm at best. Not sure if it was a water...
