'Outstanding, and the perfect end to a travel and tour-filled vacation. Vayu is an idyllic retreat, nestled in the jungle, surrounded by trees and the sounds of nature. 'Lovely little riverfront casitas. It’s a bit removed from restaurants and bars but it gives you the option to prepare your own meals or the hosts provide some food offerings as well. Everything is in great condition and well thought out. Our stay here was great. It was so relaxing going to sleep with the sounds of the river. '

'The good: This is an excellent hotel with spectacular views, friendly staff, and a zen atmosphere. The bad: There is 1.8 KM of unpaved steep rocky road before you get to the gate and another kilometer before getting to the property. This is bad enough that we decided to give up 2 prepaid nights and leave early despite having a 2WD SUV (To their credit, hotel credit us for our incidentals, which accounted for part of the nightly rate). I highly recommend this hotel as long as you have known brand...

'This property is beautiful, tasteful, understated and in the jungle. It is small and intimate with only a few villas and attentive hosts. Villas are not large but are well appointed and very clean and comfortable. This place is a real find. Our stay was great in every way. '
