'It was fine but you have to drive to sights'

'We loved our stay in this Masseria. The staff, the room and the premises were outstanding and I must emphasize their breakfast table, which was included in my price, it was amazing and delicious, the staff went all out of their way to please us and make us feel wonderful during our stay!! Beatrice gave us great recommendations for Matera and was very attentive and eager to make us feel welcome. I would recommend this Masseria without hesitation!! Wonderful and beautiful place!!'

'Staff was excellent'

Aanrader! Iets minder...

'the room was clean. Breakfast was coffee tea and espresso. Biscuits and fruit and cereal. The place was hard to find with GPS. From main road turn right at Egpt gas station go 200 yards up and on your left.Owner very helpful with restaurants and about the Sasses. The Sasses are about 500 yards down the street on your right.'

'Excellent location on a 15-20 minutes walk to old town Matera. Parking in front of the gate in the street is free. In the morning it will be rather full, but when checking in around 1500 o'clock almost empty. Beds, room, bathroom and shower were spacious and clean. No noise from other rooms or from street. All pictures of location are accurate, so we didnt make new ones. Many cats in the garden, but not in the house. Breakfast comes with different coffee options, tea, yoghurt and fruit juice....

'Great communication and recommendations from staff for restaurants, etc. Breakfast was incredible both days. Nice to have a La Carte instead of the usual buffet. Very fresh and tasty. A wonderful experience.'

'Excellent'

'We stayed at the hotel with our family of 4. We were picked up by the hotel at a parking outside of the Sassi area. The hotel staff is very nice and friendly. Our suitcases were brought to the room and we were explained about all the main sights. Our room was amazing with a mezzanine and grotto feel. Unfortunately the bathroom was in need of maintenance, but otherwise it was a great stay!'

'Amazing and unique location. Beautiful room and excellent service, the staff is really making you feel special. Also breakfast was very good. We only spent one night in Cenobio hotel and can recommend this hotel to everyone going to Matera. '

'Limited breakfast options but what a place to stay. Incredible. Would certainly come back'

'Loved our stay.'

'We love the greek theme and how well designed the hotel is. Staff was nice and helpful! The location is amazing, in the middle of the old city. The rituals are very interesting and should not be missed. What could be better? - our Bed mattress was too hard and very noisy. Wife would wake up every time I had to go to the restroom during the night. - swiming pool / jacuzzi was a nice touch, but water was not hot enough - room is somewhat dark and takes some time to get used to.'
