« Quelle déception cet hotel ! Comment Best Western a pu référencer un tel établissement ! Des chambres sans confort : des porte-manteaux cassés ainsi que la robineterie de la douche , une ampoule manquante sur le lustre ! Une chambre toute petite, humide et avec peu de lumière , des linos de sdb usés ! Un dejeuner en lenteur : 30 minutes d'attente ! A oublier ! Passer votre chemin ! »

« What an amazing place and helpful friendly people. I was going to go out after arriving and freshening up but it was so lovely I stayed in. The welcome was warm, friendly and informative. The room was spotlessly clean, warm and comfortable. The weather was windy and raining in the evening but I slept like a baby without anything disturbing me. And now to the best bit, breakfast. I do travel a lot so I do not say this lightly. Best breakfast ever. Tasty bacon and sausage , clearly excellent...

« A lovely old-fashioned hotel in a stunning setting. Comfortable, clean, cozy. On arrival we were surprised to find nobody there even though we'd waited for reception opening time. Our keys were in a plastic bag pinned to a cork board. Explanations were confusing. Breakfast was an epic adventure. The gas stove had broken down and a tremendous effort was made by staff to provide us with a very good Welsh breakfast that was well worth waiting nearly an hour for. « Absolutely amazing and helpful staff. I had loads of luggage and they helped me to the room with it all so I didnt have to run up and down. Lots of information about the area and what an area. In the mountains and with the river running through the town. The room itselfs was spotless clean, warm and inviting. A quiet nights sleep in a oh so comfortable bed. Would happily stay here again. Loved it. »

Par contre la literie avec des matelas à ressorts et des lits pour deux assez étroits, par rapport à ce qui se fait pour ce prix, ce n'est pas acceptable. On a signalé qu'on avait mal dormi quand on nous a demandé si tout allait bien, sans plus de considération. Pour dîner, prévoir 2h de service. L'espace piscine est vieillissant. »
