'Great property with amazing food! I feel the highlight for me was the food… they had a variety of options to choose from and the taste was truly amazing'

'Clean room,staff very helpful,great breakfast,views to die for x'

'Mooie kamers, panoramisch uitzicht vanuit kamer, restaurant en rooftop bar. Attent personeel '

'I try to write fair, detailed reviews as I rely on them myself when choosing properties. Mountbatten appealed to me for its heritage positioning and proximity to Kandy’s historical centre, and in many ways it delivered. Location & Atmosphere – 5★ The setting is exceptional: tranquil, elevated, surrounded by greenery, and beautifully maintained. The infinity pool is stunning and the staff are very mindful of guests seeking quiet. It genuinely feels peaceful. Service – 5★ Warm, attentive and...

'As well as last year the staff make you more than welcome! The rooms are beautiful, the food is very good and the staff extremely friendly and very helpful!!! This won’t be my last time there! '

'The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside. '

'The pool and views around the hotel were amazing and the bed was very comfy. However the food in the restaurant was bad, no amenities in the rooms, and staff not very helpful in arranging transport to get to town.'

'Bien situé. Calme. Très bon petit déjeuner. La directrice est très serviable.'

'Das Serendip Hotel liegt eigentlich traumhaft - aber in the middle of nowhere.

'very charming hotel! clean rooms and facilities, super friendly staff and service! '
