Comfortable Accommodations This standalone guest house, built in 2016, offers a cozy and non-smoking environment for guests. With 2 bedrooms featuring queen-size beds and a living room equipped with a full-size pull-out sofa bed, the cottage comfortably sleeps up to 6 people. There is one full bathroom and an additional half bathroom, ensuring convenience for all guests.

    For larger gatherings check out the Cactus House at Lost Pines Shire, a 5 star three bedroom, two bathroom guest house that sleeps 8. Also located on the property and walking distance within each other are two enchanting treehouses, the Hobbit's Nest and the Elf's Aerie. All four houses are located on the same 42 acre property and are dog-friendly with no extra pet fees. Guests will have access to trails and hiking throughout the property.

    We like to give guests privacy during their stay but are happy to give ATV tours of the property by request or swing by should any issues arise.

    The Lost Pines Shire is located in Paige, Texas, just a quick 15 minute drive from downtown Bastrop where you'll find great restaurants, bars, and shops. The cottage is situated on a large private property shared with 3 other rental homes and a few houses with family residents. There are plenty of hiking trails on our 42 acre property that you are encouraged to explore.
