This is the fourth time that I've rented this house. It is convenient to Staccato Vegas. The house is well stocked and maintained. David, the owner, is great to work with and very responsive.
Our family loves this place. Itâs a mobile home but really spacious. Owner David a his two dogs (a Husky and a Rottweiler) live right outside on the property, but they are all super nice and even our kids played with his dogs! We will be back for sure if available when we decide to come back!
Cleanliness wasn't great - it wasn't terrible or anything, but it didn't look like a cleaning staff had come through (hair in showers, microwave was dirty). The appliances are from 2018-2022 (based on the model numbers) and some are showing their age a bit.I'm kind of surprised no one mentioned the roosters next door to the property on two sides. No alarm clocks needed. The sound is much reduced in the master bedroom, but everyone else is getting up with the sun. David is very friendly and communication is great. His dogs are friendly and kept separate behind a fence to avoid any accidental over exuberance on their part. No complaints on that front at all.The neighborhood isn't much to talk about, but that's not why we choose the location. It's about an hour to an hour and a half from Death Valley, depending on where you want to go and Pahrump has way more amenities than Beatty. Grocery stores and restaurants are 10 minutes away and well stocked.
Huge house, lots of beds, very tidy and driveway and parking very secure. I enjoyed my stay. This is a great gateway location for visiting Death Valley, especially if you have a large group. Plenty of parking for several vehicles.
Property is clean and spacious. It is peaceful and quiet, as long as you have no issues with the early morning rooster. The location has you at right about an hour away from Las Vegas, Red Rocks, and Death Valley. This makes for a good base camp location to visit those areas. And gas is also cheaper in Pahrump than in Death Valley or Vegas.
The wife and I stayed here while competing in a Chili Cook-off over the weekend. The owner was very prompt in all correspondence. We added some friend of ours and their 7 month old at the last minute and owner quickly accommodated our need with the added people and nights. The home was very spacious and easily gave us all the space we needed with comfort. I would highly recommend this property if you need the space.
We booked a last minute stay for a couple of nights in Pahrump and this property popped up. It is a little out of the way and in a rural-ish setting but don't let the outside fool you. This house is large, clean and comfortable. Our host, Dave, made sure we were comfortable and introduced us to his two dogs (who are optionally loose at the customer's preference). Overall, I recommend this property, especially if you have a larger group. Oh, and the price is right!!
We came to participate in Death Valley's Dark Sky Festival. David's home was just what we needed: a clean and comfortable place to rest. The house was spacious and suited our needs. It is a modular home. Finding the property wasn't difficult, and as David mentioned, the back of the house faces the street. The kitchen was stocked with the essentials, though I was surprised that there was no actual silverware. I opened all the drawers to my (initial) dismay. There are plastic cutlery available, so that was what we ended up using for cooking and eating. At first, I thought that he left it there for visitors as a courtesy in case they needed some picnic supplies while out in their adventures. Turned out to be something to be used at home. The home had three full bathrooms which was great! However, the shower in the two bathrooms on the north side didn't drain well, so we all showered in the master bathroom the next day. Towels were adequate, bring your own shampoo/soap.He has two friendly dogs in the property which my friends and I didn't mind. Although as we were packing to leave, Naki decided to enter the home and look around. Just keep the front door closed, most of the time, they just stay at the top of the steps looking in. However, if this becomes an issue, David can keep them in their "private play yard".The neighbors have chickens, so expect a rooster to wake you up at sunrise!Thank you for a comfortable stay!
Beautiful home! My kids and grandkids, 9 total came to dinner and visit, there was plenty of room. The bed was comfy and towels were soft!! Found everything I needed to cook and bake cookiesâ€ïžThe owner was very nice too.
We will be back!!!
This place looks rundown from the outside but is truely lovely on the inside. It's an enormous house with lots of nice fluffy towels and good beds. It's fairly isolated but less then 10 minutes to drive to a supermarket, so it's nice and quiet
This house was perfect for our needs. It had everything you could want inside the house including plenty of hand soap, detergent, plush towels, comfortable bed, anything in the kitchen we could use and we made all our meals there, boxes of Kleenex everywhere...If we were planning on hanging around the house outdoors, we would have found the property lacking. But the pictures are accurate for the exterior. We were there to go to Death Valley and Red Rock canyon for hiking so we didn't need anything more from the outdoor location. The neighborhood would not be one that I would necessarily spend time walking around. But again we didn't need that since we were spending every day hiking in the parks.
This house doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside is incredible. This house is huge! The kitchen is stocked with everything that you need. There is a laundry room. There were a lot of board games (if that's your thing). The one thing that wasn't great for this city girl was the rooster next door. It definitely took some getting use to it crowing at 4am. If my travels bring me back to the area. I will definitely try and book this place.
First the host David, is super nice, and great communication. The place is is a little rundown on the outside however the inside is absolutely well taken care of and super clean. It is also hands-down the best stocked VRBO Iâve ever had with paper products, detergent, soap, cookware, etc., etcâŠ
However, I do feel like hostas should be very clear that they also live on the property when youâre gonna rent something.
Well, I see this as a plus some people may not care for that. The owner has two big dogs on site but the dogs are super nice and itâs actually nice having a dog come to you after the end of a long day.
Very nice accomodations. There were 3 of us but we could have had 3 times that many & been comfortable. Newly renovated, extremely comfortable. Many extras provided. David is a very thoughtful host & a nice guy; the dogs Keiko & Naki are charming too tootooñtoochcharming too charming
It was great to have the property manager on site. We did have some initial trouble with the air conditioner and the water, but both problems were quickly resolved. The mobile home was huge! It would be a great place for a family reunion. There's enough bed space for 9 and the price was super reasonable! The only wish i could have brought my 2 little dogs, but otherwise, it was great! I imagine we'll be back!
This place was very spacious inside. We felt like everyone had their own space for sure. The beds were comfy and the living room along with the kitchen was a good size! Also, Dave and his dog Keiko were very friendly when we saw them at check out and even took our family pic outside his blooming cactus! Overall, a very good stay for sure. Will stay again if Iâm back out this way.
We travel a lot all over the world and this was probably the nicest experience ever! Truly amaizng! The house is huge, sparking clean, great towels, comfortable beds, beautiful decor with many nice touches. In the kitchen besides regular dishes David provided disposable one in case you prefer not do dishes, popcorn for snack etc. There are convenient supermarkets nearby and Dave place being on the north part of Pahrum is as close to the Death Valley as you can be, about 40 minutes drive (there is one motel closer than that which is totally ran down). David the host stays on the premises with his lovely husky Keiko and is available to help if anything is need. Highly, highly recommended. If you want a reall home away from home that is the place. Thanks Dave, we loved it there and will definitely be back for anotheri hiking trip.
