Welcome to Blanco Valley Retreat, a mountain retreat tucked away in the beautiful Rio Blanco Valley of Pagosa. Sitting on over an acre and a half, this cabin is surrounded by mountain views and plenty of space to enjoy the outdoors. Inside, you’ll find beautiful original woodwork and room for everyone to spread out. The wood-burning stove makes a cozy gathering spot on snowy evenings, while the large media room gives the kids a place to watch a movie or relax. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need to prepare a meal at home, and the dining room’s floor-to-ceiling windows make it easy to enjoy the spectacular mountain scenery while you eat. Outside, a large wraparound deck offers several places to enjoy the local beautiful surroundings. Grab your morning coffee outside, keep an eye out for local wildlife, or simply take in the views. After a day of adventure and exploring, the hot tub is a welcome place to unwind. There’s also plenty to do nearby throughout the year. Spend a winter day skiing at Wolf Creek, explore the many hiking trails around Pagosa Springs, or head to the river for fishing, playing, and relaxing. When you’re ready for a quieter day, there’s plenty of room at the cabin to simply enjoy being together. Dogs are welcome, too! The property gives them plenty of room to stretch their legs and explore, and we keep a jar of treats on hand for our four-legged guests. Bringing a trailer? No problem! There is plenty of parking in the driveway or under the covered garage.



Blanco Valley Retreat is about 10 minutes from downtown Pagosa Springs, with its local shops, restaurants, and the Springs Resort along the San Juan River. Access to the Lower Blanco River is also about 10 minutes away, while Wolf Creek Ski Area and the Continental Divide are approximately 40 minutes from the cabin. Whether you’re here for outdoor adventures, a family getaway, or simply some time in the mountains, we hope Blanco Valley Retreat feels like a place where you can relax and enjoy your time together.

**SNOW CONDITIONS may arise during your travel days or your vacation stay. Main roads are maintained throughout the day, however, many side roads receive less attention and every driveway has a different terrain. For your safety, 4 Wheel Drive/All Wheel Drive or two-wheel drive with accessible chains or cables are recommended for Colorado travel November-May

HOUSE LAYOUT:

Blanco Valley Retreat is located near the end of a country road in one of Pagosa’s rural, rustic neighborhoods along the Lower Blanco River. Upon arrival, you are greeted by a large wraparound porch with multiple seating areas, a fire pit, two BBQ's and a screened in outdoor dining table. Inside you'll be surrounded by original wood trim and detail throughout the home, vaulted ceilings and beautiful mountain views. Directly to your right is the media room with a large sectional sofa and big screen TV. The large primary bedroom with en suite bath is located just off the media room and has it's own TV and sitting area. Head back through the main living room and you'll find a large, fully equipped kitchen and dining room with floor to ceiling windows overlooking the beautiful landscape. There is also a second bathroom on the main floor with a large walk-in shower. Upstairs are the second and third bedrooms with Queen size beds. Each room has it's own TV.

- Dogs allowed with full disclosure - Maximum of 2 pets. We require a $35/night per pet fee and signed pet agreement. Failure to do so will result in a fine in addition to the fees in place. Non-canine pets must be approved in advance. ALL PETS MUST BE DISCLOSED before arrival, including service animals.
