« The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. The screened in patio that our cabin room had was perfect for sitting outside and enjoying the fall weather. All the staff that we encountered were extremely friendly and helpful. They even got us out of a jam when we needed a corkscrew for our wine. The drive into Herman was not an issue at all and we have already talked about wanting to come back. »

« Situé dans la magnifique forêt d'Ozark, l'hôtel offre un cadre propice à la détente et à la randonnée. Décor de style chalet, typique des parcs nationaux. Chambre confortable, avec balcon, bonne literie, salle de bain avec douche à l'italienne et baignoire. Dommage que le restaurant ne soit pas à la hauteur : cuisine sans grand intérêt et service amateur, bien que souriant et aimable. »

« Rien à redire sur cet hôtel sauf qu'on nous charge 10$ us en plus du prix de la chambre; 5$ pour frais de service et 5$ pour un rabais dans les restaurants du casino... on nous donne un coupon rabais à notre arrivé de 5$ et qu'on l'utilise ou non on nous le charge quand on check-out... ce n'est pas un cadeau c'est un frais obligatoire et caché...pas correct! »

« Overall just a great stay. Parking was several blocks away but they had a shuttle thhat tesponded immediately. »

The overall experience was excellent -- our room was very quiet and comfortable. For future short visits to the Lake, we'll stay at the Lodge again; for longer ones, we may rent one of the villa. »
