'I was visiting Abertawe for one night to see old friends and this was a great place to stay. Perfectly located in the heart of the city and just a short walk away from some great restaurants. The room had a luxury quality to it like the coffee machine and plump bathrobes. My only critique was the curvy headboard wasn’t very comfortable (I move around during the night and kept hitting my head on it!). 'Newly renovated very nice room in the coach house. Staff were outstanding throughout, very helpful friendly and polite. Evening meal and breakfast were excellent, again with great staff members. Only reason it doesn't get 5* is the sauna was out of action in the spa and the pool is quite small'

'Boutique hotel in the Uplands area of Swansea. Good ambiance as you walk in the door to the hallway. The oriental suite was full of character and great attention to detail to maintain the theme in the room. Plenty of amenities to use whilst in the room. 2 min walk to the nearest bars and restaurants. A great find.'

'Very dirty carpets everywhere. Worn out rooms. Beds felt dirty. Noisy. Food ok ish, big portions, comfort food only. Not good for kids, nothing to do. No access to sports facilities. Felt unsafe. Friendly staff!'

The room we had was poorly decorated, the windows are rotting, the carpet is dirty and rumpled up, the furniture is old and tatty, the bathroom, though quite large, was scruffy and with mold around the bath, the plug didn't fit the sink, there was no hot water in the morning and the cold air blower didn't really produce any cold air. Certainly wouldn't stay here again.'
