This was our 5th visit to the Highland House and it did not disappoint. Being greeted by Annette is always a pleasure. Communication with our hosts David and Pauline is outstanding. The property is stunning, with multiple areas to sit and relax, rain or shine. The home is warm and cozy with comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and every amenity you could ask for, plus hot tub, sauna, pizza oven! We look forward to returning again and again for our annual girls wknd! Many thanks to our wonderful hosts!

David and Pauline’s is as shown. Great hosts nothing overlooked in making our stay here a success. It’s a lovely home in a beautiful location. The gift basket was beyond expectations but a lovely and welcome gesture. The 9 of us crazy cousins had a fabulous weekend. So much to do in and around Georgian bay or if you choose to just hang out this location has much to offer.

This was our 5th year at the Luxury Log Home, near Owen Sound, and it is for a reason.It is an amazing place for friends and/or family to spend a few days at and relax. It is well well equipped with modern appliances, an amazing outdoor kitchen, Pizza Oven and amenities. The bedrooms are nicely appointed and the beds are very comfortable. The rest of the house is furnished with high quality furniture and fixtures. The property itself is incredibly maintained, surrounded by beautiful wilderness.Our host David has been amazing to work with over the years. He genuinely wants to ensure our stays are worry free, relaxing and most enjoyable. Any questions we had were immediately responded to, and any issues we may have had were immediately addressed with results that met if not exceeded our expectations.If you are looking for a place to relax and feel at home, we highly recommend a stay at this wonderful oasis.We will be back again in 2026!

Our group of six had plenty of space and every amenity we could possibly need — the hosts have truly thought of everything. The property itself is beautiful, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. The welcome basket was such a thoughtful touch and made us feel immediately at home. Our host was extremely responsive, kind, and made sure our stay was perfect from start to finish. If I could give 15/10 stars, I absolutely would. We can’t wait to come back!

Relax and unwind

The cottage is very cozy and yet very spacious. The bedrooms are large and have very comfortable beds and bedding. The patio has a large bbq, pizza oven and hot tub. The sauna in the basement heats up in 20 minutes and is easy to operate. Walking trails are plentiful and nearby. If you are looking to relax, rent this place.

Amazing girls getaway

We just stayed for a 3 night weekend getaway to celebrate our friends 50th birthday. It was an amazing location. The home and grounds were so beautiful. The home had everything we needed for a relaxing time; catching up with and celebrating our friendship! From the hot tub, to the sauna, pizza in the outdoor pizza oven, games and reading by the fire, we could not have asked for a better place. Annette met us onsite, was very welcoming and gave a tour of the property. The owner David, was easy to communicate with and very quick to respond. Home was very clean and lots of towels were provided. Beds were comfy! We can not wait to return again and making it a yearly destination.

Second Stay at Highland House

Our group of 7 were so happy to to be back at Highland House for another stay! Our host, David was there to welcome us and answer any questions. He gave us some tips on the pizza oven which resulted in amazing, delicious pizza our first night. The log home is beautifully decorated and cozy, all beds are very comfortable and the property, inside and out, was clean and well maintained. Girls Weekend 4th year

This is the 4th year we have stayed at Highland House with 6 friends. This house is the perfect location with every amenity imaginable. We return every year to the same wonderful experience. Amazing Place and Host

The Highland House is an amazing home and property. It has all that you need and more, with plenty of room. The extra amenities such as the Hot Tub, Outdoor Kitchen and Pizza Oven puts this accommodation over the top. The house and property is well maintained. You can tell the owner (David) is very proud of his property. David is amazing...very responsive, friendly and conversive. Any issues we may have had were addressed immediately with follow-up to ensure we were happy. This was our 4th year staying at the Highland House for our annual Golf Tournament and we plan to be back again next year. Thank you David for being such a great host!

Amazing Getaway at Highland House

We spent a week with our family at Highland House. The home exceeded our expectations. The photos accurately depict the home. The house is situated in a secluded setting with beautiful gardens and a spacious lawn ideal for outdoor activities. The deck area includes an outdoor kitchen (with pizza oven), a large outdoor dining table, a sitting area, and a spacious hot tub. We appreciated making arrangements with the homeowner, who was quick to respond to any inquiries. I highly recommend this property!

Wonderful Property!

Our family recently returned from a 5 night stay at Highland House. The property is so private and peaceful and very well cared for. One of my favourite spots was the comfy front porch chair with a tea that looked out onto the beautiful and quiet grounds. The house was a perfect size for our extended family of eight. A lovely, cozy log cabin feel. We loved all the amenities the owner has provided - the great pizza oven, outdoor kitchen, sauna, hot tub, fire pit and more! Everything you need is there….even the many boardgames for a rainy afternoon. David is a very responsive host and Annette was so helpful when we arrived. Great location and wonderful property to visit! Looking forward to visiting again! Thanks for sharing your Highland House with us!
