The hotel is beautifully situated behind the cathedral in the old centre of Otranto. The service is very good and the staff are kind and caring. Don't hesitate and stay in this Palazzo!

Mooi historisch hotel en centraal gelegen!
Locatie ideaal, als je in het centrum wilt zijn. Aan de boulevard , restaurants, winkels en bezienswaardigheden op loopafstand . Ontbijt met zeezicht.

Perfectly located (For Historic Centre, Beach and Old Port) beautifully preserved and maintained Palazzo-style hotel. We felt completely immersed and thanks to the Hotel Staff who were so professional, friendly and helpful, we utterly enjoyed every moment of our stay in Otranto

A Perfect Place to Stay in Otranto
Great location in the old town, very convenient for all the key sites and a nice view of the waterfront from the balcony. The hotel is very clean with comfortable rooms and beds, and a good breakfast. We were given excellent restaurant recommendations.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Hotel Palazzo Papaleo. The staff was incredibly friendly, and they helped with suggestions and bookings in the area. We parked at a nearby paid lot outside of the ZTL, and it was a quick walk with our carry-on sized suitcases. We wish we stayed longer, and would definitely return!

The hotel is very conveniently placed within the old town, making it very easy to pop down to the sea and go back to the room and shower and then pop out again for food et cetera. The hotel itself is nice, not super lux but nice, and clean, there were things that niggled like the layout of the room and the air con, but the thing that raised this hotel up above others that I’ve stayed in and took it from a forgettable experience to one I won’t forget in a hurry, is the staff. What amazing people!. Couldn’t do enough and with a smile! I thought Patrizia was the manager (she isn’t but she should be!) her customer service, attention to detail, attentiveness and concern for our wellbeing and enjoyment was just…wow. Special mention also to Elena and the boys at breakfast. If I come back to Otranto I will definitely stay here again because of them Thank you everyone

Staff at front desk was great and very helpful, Valentina and Elena get 5 stars. At breakfast , Sacha was very informative and a great conversationalist. Been to Otranto 2 times before , this was the very best place.Highly recommend this hotel.

This was a lovely hotel in a fantastic location -- across the narrow street from the main church. Beautiful building that has been converted into a hotel, great rooftop and view. We would recommend this to anyone.

This hotel is a self-styled 5 star, not quite what you'd expect, but worth every one of those stars. The location cannot be beaten, right in the heart of the old town, within touching distance of the Cathedral (literally), the rooms are very comfortable and we had a balcony and large terrace (not that we ever had time to use them). What makes this place even more special though is the fantastic staff, every one of them pleasany and welcoming. The communication with Patrizia before arriving was first class. Otranto is a wonderful place, and I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough to fellow travellers.

Great stay in the historic center of Otranto!
Palazo Papaleo a great hotel in the historic center of Otranto. Since it is located in a limited traffic zone (LTZ) the reception staff will pick you up with a golf cart. Rooms are spacious and breakfast is served on the rooftop terrace!

Best Hotel in Otranto
This was a lovely hotel in the direct center of Otranto. Lovely management and the property is stunning and across from the central cathedral. The rooms were spacious and modern, lovely patios, and the rooftop restaurant and vista was lovely. The management was incredibly helpful and cheery - this was my favorite stay during our weeklong road trip through the Puglia region.

elegantes Hotel mit persönlicher Atmosphäre
Sanft rennovierter historischer Palazzo an perfekter Lage: am Rande des historischen Stadtkerns und nur wenige Gehminuten zu den Stränden. Das Personal verdient ein ausserordentliches Lob, stets hilfsbereits, zuvorkommend, kennen alle Gäste mit Namen. Mein Deluxe Zimmer war sehr geräumig, grosses Bad und schön eingerichtet. Sehr leckeres Frühstückbuffet, serviert auf der Dachterrasse mit Blick aufs Meer. Habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt.

In vacanza coccolati da Palazzo Papaleo
Esperienza estremamente positiva , l’hotel si trova in posizione privilegiata proprio a fianco della basilica, il personale è sempre gentile, la cucina è ottima e lo chef si rende disponibile per soddisfare i gusti della clientela anche con piatti fuori menù. La terrazza della colazione e della cena possiede una visuale fantastica, io e mia moglie pensiamo proprio di tornarci.
