"The hotel and staff were great. They provided transportation to and from the train station. Their breakfast buffet was delicious. The only thing I didn’t like was that the restaurants were not open for dinner. But there was a great okonomiyaki restaurant close by and a convenience store. "

"Great hotel. Convenient location. Good size rooms. Excellent breakfast. I would have given them five stars but for one thing. They won't take payment for baggage forwarding. Most hotels will allow you to pay to have your bags shipped to another hotel or the airport. This hotel refuses to do that which means your bags show up at their destination with money due. Most hotels will not accept bags with shipping charges due. If you aren't there when the bags arrive, the hotel refuses them...

"This ryokan is good value for money. Having stayed in several ryokans, this ryokan is average. Service was good and facilities were decent with an interesting Pearl Onsen. However, the kaiseki dinner was a bit disappointing. Paid extra for the Matsusaka beef menu but the dinner was average and not worth the money paid. If you want to stay here, I would recommend to just take the basic dinner package. "

"The hotel is in a nice location near the water, at the end of the train line at Kashikojima. There aren’t many food options in the small village. It seemed very quiet at the hotel and some of the surrounding properties seemed abandoned, so it felt a bit dated and not a popular area anymore. We liked the peace and quiet, but this might not be to everyone’s taste. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we were given a large room with plenty of space. "
