Overall, it was very good experience, especially, staff was very friendly. They charge extra tax Yen 100/day/person. While we stay in APA osaka last week, which did not charge any extra tax. Then I understood it is requested by the City, it depends on the hotel.

The hotel was clean and safe but it was farther from the main train station, Osaka Station, and metro stops than we prefer. 8-12 minute walk which is still not very far but we have been spoiled by hotels in other cities which are much closer to public transit lines. Still overall a good hotel.

Everything was good but a noise. Even though it located in busy area, I didn't hear people's voice and the noise that arose in the downtown area. However, I was suffering from the noise of something motor though the night. I couldn't sleep and called the front desk around 2:00 am the staff answered very politely but she explained and apologized that all rooms had the same noise because of their bath rooms. I don't think I would choose this hotel again. But I can say, everything was good but just a noise...

The hotel was located in a convenient area with lots of dining options and local eats. It was close to Osaka station and walking distance from many retail stores. The staff were nice and courteous and the room amenities were very nice. I would easily book here again and recommend it to others.

The two bed room was nice and had space to walk around easily with two people. Our room window showed a view of the city and got plenty of natural light during sunny days. The bathroom was nicely designed and the floor was made to keep the water flowing down and away from the sink and toilet. The hard material used also allows any residual water to dry quickly. Hairdryer, toothbrushes, comb, cups, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, all provided. You have square magnetic signs that are stuck onto your hotel room entrance door, you can take the appropriate label and stick it onto the square space on the outside of your door to let people know if you are sleeping/wanting room cleaning. The breakfast buffet is a must for this hotel! There are so many good choices of fruits, and dishes. Oranges, grapefruits, pineapples, grapes, mango mixed in syrup, mixed berries, strawberries, cereal, milk, juices (green veggie, orange, apple, pomegranate, and more), toast/breads, fried noodles, salad, tomatoes, dressings, white rice, miso soup, corn soup, runny eggs, hard boiled eggs, tater tots, pork, chicken, beef curry, salmon, cheesecake, and more! The staff are very kind, polite, respectful, and patient. They helped us with our luggage delivery and our 2 small luggage’s cost around ~4000yen including taxes and fees to Tokyo. The washing and drying machines are very nice and using them is easy. Put your clothes in the washer, close the lid and put 3 100yen coins and the machine starts

We had a nice stay at Hotel Monterey Le Frerw Osaka. Great location, and parking available where we can just drop off our car and access public transport around the city. The hotel is like new, clean and full of amenities. Staffs are friendly and helpful too. Will definitely come back next time we’re in Osaka. Highly recommended.

I liked how convenient the hotel was to the train station, it made getting around very easy. The only thing I didnt like was the mattress which made for an uncomfortable sleep

梅田駅から歩くのはちょっとかかるけど大阪駅からはすぐ。御堂筋にほど近いのでタクシーもつかまえやすい。部屋は綺麗で大通りに近いのが嘘のように静か。大浴場も有るし部屋のバスルームのアメニティも充実してる。朝食が高くてびっくりしたけど納得のラインナップ。食べたい物の半分も制覇できずに満腹になってしまったのが残念。部屋の鏡は両サイドにライトが仕込んであるタイプなのにもかかわらず、何故か顔に影ができてしまうのでメイクはバスルームで。

Very conveniently situated to shopping/subway/JR and, eateries of course. Light sleepers will find it a challenge to have sleepful night of the immediate guests keep setting their early hours wake-up alarm but the beeping sound keeps going on for 10 or more minutes. Bec aware that the wall separating the rooms is rather pervious (to sound).

It’s my first time to Japan and I stayed at Hotel Monterey Le Frere Osaka for 4 nights. Everyone from the front desk to room service and room keeping was very friendly and respectful. The hotel also super convenient. Shopping, transportation and restaurant are all around. I am very pleased and has a wonderful time here. I will return very soon with family this time. Very much appreciated all the staffs. Would highly recommend this hotel for your stay if you in Osaka.

Located a short walk from Osaka station there is an abundance of transit and food options. The hotel is at the edge of a busy night life district and so on Friday or Saturday nights the area will be very busy. The room was in great condition and everyone at the property was very nice. We had a great stay. My only criticism would be that the onsen and laundry facilities are a bit small for a hotel of this size, and might be very busy during peak hours.

Lovely staff. We were able to drop off our luggage before check in. We asked for two rooms close to each other when we arrived a little early. When we checked in they had arranged rooms side by side, this helped our family enormously. Rooms were good size and very clean. Hotel is walking distance from Osaka station, we were misdirected by google maps going through underground area and went to a different station that wasn’t necessary so be aware and try walking above ground unless you know where to go.
