Nice condo for a family
The propert is clean and well kept. Itā€™s a short walk to the resort pool area that has several nice amenities. Thereā€™s plenty of parking amd a well equipped kitchen. Bring all of your own toiletries. We enjoyed our stay at the lion.

This property is great for families. The apartment is very comfortable and the gated area offers plenty of activities options. The host was always available when we needed. Weā€™ll definitely come back!

Overall, it was nice. But here are our notesā€¦
ā€¢Beautiful condo. Decor choices are upscale. ā€¢Plenty of dishes, utensils & cookware. Everything we needed to cook dinner each night. ā€¢The water park was very nice. The kids loved it. ā€¢There were plenty of hangers. ā€¢The baby items are a great addition. ā€¢Zero wash cloths in the bathrooms. Had to use hand towels in the shower. ā€¢Only one bottle of hand soap in the entire condo. None in the guest bath or the kitchen. ā€¢There were no paper towels. Usually there is at least one roll upon check-in. ā€¢Finicky door lock/code. It worked, but would take a while. Our last night we tried to open the door & it took several mins & many tries to get the door to open. ā€¢The condo was clean-ish. Could use a deep clean. I could tell the bathroom rugs had not been cleaned in a while because there was hair in/on them. When we first walked in there was a strong smell of dogs or pets of some sort. Luckily I found some scent plugs & was able to hide the smell. There were also several roaches found in the condo throughout the week. ā€¢No ceiling fans. I know that this was a decor choice. But no fans in the bedrooms was just odd to us. ā€¢The wall sconces in the bedroom are controlled by a switch on the wall. The switch also controls the bedside outlets. So we could either turn off the sconces or charge our phones. ā€¢One issue that was no fault of the condo owner The back entrance gate did not work using the barcode. Not just us, there was a line to get in -eventually everyone went through the exit gate

Great stay at The Lion at Story Lake
My family & I stayed here for 9 nights in April. The apartment is really spacious and well appointed. My kids loved the Disney themed decorated bedrooms. Really good A/C too. The owner is very helpful and responsive, and provided us with restaurant recommendations. Lots of glasses, plates & dishes in the kitchen but no cleaning products so need to bring/buy your own. We used the pool facilities a couple of times and my children (5 and 9 years) enjoyed the very warm swimming pool and lazy river. The pool is a very short walk from the apartment. Great apartment and we would definitely stay again!

I cannot say enough good things about this property! Itā€™s location was great and convenient, it was clean and luxurious! So many little touches of neat and elegant things made it feel like a five star stay. The kids loved the bunk bed room and the fact that they had their own Roku tv. Plus gaming systems! The work station came in handy for my laptop! The strollers and highchair made it so convenient and easy for us with our little ones when we went out. Rebeca is such a thoughtful and attentive host and she always replied to me so fast! We loved our stay so much we will be booking here again our next time in Orlando!
