When we arrived at the given location ( we received an email from the hotel to check-in at a different location) but the door was closed and nobody was there. We phoned the hotel twice and left a message. We than waited another 20 minutes and left, this to look for a different hotel. We than contacted Expedia, to explain what happened. 'There were several things to like about this hotel. It is located in Mountain Village, which is a thousand feet above the town of Telluride; tucked in an alpine glen with several other hotels, restaurants, and upscale shopping. Access to the town of Telluride is best done using the free tram which departs from a couple of points within Mountain Village, stops at the top of the hill where you can get off and hike or just take in the scenery, and then descends to the town of Telluride itself. ...

The amenities were fantastic...great pool with hot tub, lockers, gym, and the complimentary coffee, teas, and cookies hit the spot! We loved the location as it was very close to the market and the free gondola. Definitely highly recommend!'

'Staff was super friendly. Loved the free coffee and tea in the morning, Parking in and around the area was fine. The only downfall was the temp in the room. They have a swamp cooler, which is probably pretty normal for Silverton’s accommodations. I’m sure not very many buildings are air-conditioned in this town but was a little warm at night. It did cool off but took a smidge of time. Delightful place.'
