Everything a family needs under a beautiful canopy of majestic Fir trees. The hot tub early in the morning then an afternoon of kayaking with the local bay seals and an evening of grilling and family dinners with seats for all the kids and baby is all you can ask for in life. This is the definition of Quiet time. We stayed here with 5 kids 10 and under and never felt crammed.

Beautiful, quiet property right on the sound. House is well setup and stocked to stay in and cook all weekend. Backyard has a wonderful deck and yard to relax and enjoy nature.

Relaxing stay in Olympia 😎

What a clean, cozy cottage to spend quality time with our family of 5. One of my best experiences with any short term rental. More than enough sleeping space. Beautiful waterfront views. Even the cold days were made peasant by the hot tub. The kitchen was well-appointed, allowing us to cook meals at home. Ample linens, comfortable bedding, and location convenient to all major highways. Property manager was very responsive. I would love to come back to the same property next time we are in Olympia.

Beyond Amazing

Our week in this beautiful home was perfect. The pictures, though lovely, barely capture its true charm. We felt like we were at home from the moment we stepped inside. The beach was accessible from the house, and with the kayaks and beach equipment, we didn’t need to bring a thing—it was easy and fun. Oysters were plentiful on the pebbly shore; low tide gave us a few hours of fun tide-pooling. The fire pits lured us to stay outdoors well into the evenings. Inside the home, every detail is carefully considered. From the color-coordinated decor to the well-labeled drawers and cabinets, we never had to hunt for anything. The homeowner’s guides included clear instructions and suggestions to make us feel right at home—no confusion—just relaxation. The deck is wonderful, and the little gates allowed our dogs to roam leash-free. Watching the beach from that vantage point (and that of the strategically placed hot tub) was blissful. And the quaint 3/4 enclosed outdoor shower was a fun touch! The owners were incredibly kind and helpful throughout our stay. Their attentiveness made all the difference. We had plans to explore the nearby area, but honestly, the home was so wonderful that none of us wanted to leave. It became our sanctuary—a place to recharge and escape the daily hustle. A few minor quirks didn’t impact our glowing review of this property. Salty Dog and owners, thank you for providing us a much-needed respite. We’re so grateful we found you. 🏡❤️

Beautiful Retreat

We enjoyed a restful stay at this lovely property. The views are even more beautiful in person. We also enjoyed the firepit and taking in the lake and scenery. In addition, the owners were quick to respond to any questions we had. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. It was clear that they genuinely cared about the quality of our experience.

Amazing location nice cabin bonus hot tub

We had an amazing stay and it was a beautiful location. Easy access to the beach and we were blessed with a pod of Orca’s who swam by, a rare sight. Enjoyed kayaking and the hot tub with spectacular views. Will stay again next time we visit.

Weekend Getaway

The house is beautiful and had all the comforts of home, the view is amazing and peaceful. We found it to be relaxing and welcoming. The only problems we had was no curtains or blinds on the windows and felt like the newbies could see right in the house. There was no mater bedroom just two rooms with bunk beds, so we slept on the Murphy bed in the living room and again no blinds so you wake up which the sun. Also I think the maid forgot to do a few tasks that was on the list, before we got there.
