'Quite disappointed that the website highlighted a golf course as one of the main attractions. No golf course exists. It appears to have not been operating for a few years at least. Extra pillows in the closet were quite stained and no extra pillow cases. Tv did not work and no instructions. The room was fine overall but I don’t think would have booked this place if I had known there was no golf course. There was no restaurant or any food service on site but that was updated in the website...

'The hotel is currently being renovated, so the corridor with the elevator is a construction site. Our room had not yet been renovated and made a dated impression. But all necessary facilities were present and working. Nice and helpful staff, especially the cleaners. Of the 5 hotels during our trip through New England, this was the least good.'

'The pool is out of service, under construction. The pool being not open was not shared with us when we booked. They didn’t offer the continental breakfast because there wasn’t enough people staying there the night I was. The staff did their best to bring us some of the food options to our room but it was a very limited selection of items.'

Vreselijke prijs kwaliteit verhouding in vergelijking met de 10 andere hotels waar we deze vakantie sliepen. Het enige pluspunt was het ontbijt, als je van een zwaar op ontbijt houdt tenminste.'

'We booked for two nights and stayed a third too. And if time permitted, we would have booked a 4th and a 5th! The location is superb and centrally located in the White Mountains (we hiked the Lonesome Lake trail and the Franconia Ridge trail loop). Randy and Jonathan are perfect hosts, who dealt very well with our coffee addiction and brought us additional cups every morning. 'Everything was fine until I got up in the morning to take a shower. NO HOT WATER! I was on a schedule to leave so I had to bypass the shower. I reported it at check out and requested a credit on my bill and was told by the person behind the desk that the manager would call me and a credit would be arranged. Three days have gone by and no one has called me. Don’t stay here if you will need a warm shower at any point or just plain hot water.'
