'Desk staff were very friendly & helpful. The room had dust on the shelves & the toilet would keep running after flushing, but was fine otherwise. The kitchenette was well-stocked and contained everything we needed. The beds were very comfortable & the A/C always kept the room a consistent temperature, which was great.'

'We had a very late arrival and left very early. We didn't use any of the amenities. But we didn't have any concerns. They are in the process of a remodel though, but it did not affect our stay.'

The mini fridge was frozen over and laden with ice, elevator was broken, breakfast was mostly gone by the time we got down there at 9 o’clock and breakfast closed at 9:30. A hotel guest literally went down to the kitchen and made more eggs himself and brought them out to share!!!! 'I have been staying at this property for years. The cleanliness is welcome. I do miss the Victorian furniture that was in the parlor for years. But am thankful for the clean linens, bathtub, and the treats and breakfast. The included parking spot and being made to feel like I am at my home away from home. Highly recommend this treasure.'
