The space:

THE COURTYARD
Fully fenced and completely private, The Resthouse courtyard has it all: a 7-person Wellis hot tub that's professionally maintained and always ready, a hot-water outdoor shower, an outdoor kitchen with a gas grill and hot-water sink, dining for six, a smokeless fire pit with firewood stocked, and zero-gravity loungers you can carry to the beach and back.

THE COTTAGE
Renovated top to bottom with new kitchen counters and sink, new bath and shower fixtures, new plumbing inside and out, and whole-home filtered water you can drink from any tap. There's an in-wall fireplace in the living room, a deep sectional, a 65" ROKU TV, gig internet, and a shelf of Pacific Northwest reads for foggy or firelit nights. The primary bedroom has a Tempur-Pedic Pro California King and a ceiling fan. The bunk room sleeps three more on a twin-over-full with a trundle, and there's a desk tucked in for writing or a remote workday. Full bath with a tub/shower combo, full-size washer and dryer, and a mudroom stocked with beach towels, clam guns and lawn games.

THE PENINSULA
The Resthouse sits in Ocean Park, the quiet middle of the Long Beach Peninsula. The beach approaches here are calm and uncrowded, unlike touristy Long Beach twenty minutes south. You're a few minutes from the sand in one direction and Willapa Bay in the other, with historic Oysterville just up the road. Razor clam digs happen right here in season, and Leadbetter Point State Park is accessible year round. Guest access:

The entire property is yours: cottage, courtyard, and outdoor double lot for pets to run around. Nothing is shared, and no part of the home is off-limits except the locked owner's closet. Smart-lock self check-in at both the front door and the gated courtyard fence.

Other things to note:

The house runs on a private, filtered well and septic (so nothing but toilet paper down the drains, please). The hot tub is professionally managed. Quiet hours start at 10pm. Self check-in with a smart lock (including the gated courtyard fence), and there's plenty of level gravel parking in our circular driveway spanning the double lot.
